N-GEN GAMING NG2601A Gaming Chair with Footrest, Reclining Back, All Black

If you want a seat that can shift between upright desk work and a more relaxed position, the N-GEN GAMING NG2601A has features aimed at both. Its backrest reclines from 90° to 135°, the armrests move with it, and a retractable footrest adds leg support for gaming, computer work, or a break at home. A separate neck and lumbar cushion is included for added support.

The all-black chair is upholstered in faux leather and uses foam for the seat and fill. The listed maximum weight recommendation is 300 pounds. Buyer feedback is generally positive about comfort and assembly, but reports on stability, cushioning, and back support are mixed, so individual impressions may differ.

Usage tips

The combination of recline and a footrest gives you more ways to change position than a basic fixed-back desk chair. For example, you can keep the backrest more upright during computer tasks, then extend the footrest and recline for a gaming break. The linkage armrests are designed to move with the backrest, while the adjustable seat height lets you set the chair to your desk setup.

The product is listed for indoor use on hard floors. Its dimensions and 21-inch seat depth are useful details to compare with your available space and preferred seating fit before choosing. The faux-leather upholstery is specified as wipe-clean, which may suit a setup where simple surface care matters. It makes sense if you want a gaming-style chair with both recline and a built-in footrest rather than a simpler seat focused only on upright desk use.

What you get

The listed components include a base plate, caster, cushion, headrest, and screw kit. The product information also describes an installation manual and QR code for setup guidance. Buyers commonly describe assembly as easy, though that feedback is not a substitute for checking the instructions and included parts during setup.

When it makes sense

The NG2601A brings together adjustability, a footrest, and neck and lumbar cushions in one chair for a home office, bedroom, or gaming space. That feature set may be useful if you alternate between desk tasks and reclining, rather than wanting a basic chair with fewer position options. It might not be a great match if you need consistently firm cushioning or a particular level of lumbar support: buyer reports on padding and back support vary, as do comments about stability. Consider those mixed impressions alongside the listed dimensions and weight recommendation when deciding whether it suits your setup.
