Gamtimer Gaming Chair 400 lb Capacity
Product description
Quick overview
For gamers and adults looking for a high-back chair with an included footrest, this Gamtimer model combines adjustable support with a recline feature.
The headrest and lumbar support are adjustable, while the backrest reclines from 90° to 150°. That gives you options for sitting upright at a desk or leaning back between matches.
It makes sense if you want a chair that can shift between work, gaming, reading, and a reclined break without adding a separate footrest.
Size & fit
The listed maximum dimensions are 21L × 21W × 51H inches, and the chair is rated to hold up to 400 lbs. Those details make it worth comparing the chair’s overall footprint and stated capacity with your space and needs before deciding, the listed dimensions do not specify the seat’s usable width.
Its high backrest is designed to support the shoulders, head, and neck, and the included pillow and lumbar support can be adjusted. The seat, backrest, headrest, and armrests use high-density sponge padding. Keep in mind that the upholstery is PU leather rather than fabric, so shoppers who specifically want a fabric-covered chair should look at a different style. The product description calls the material breathable, but doesn’t give a breathability rating.
Tips for day-to-day use
For desk work or gaming, start with the backrest upright and adjust the pillow and lumbar support to suit your sitting position. When you want to lean back, the chair reclines and the footrest pulls out, the padded armrests retract as the seat reclines. For example, you can finish a work session upright, then extend the footrest and recline to read without moving to another seat.
The chair swivels 360°, and its rubber casters are described as quiet-rolling. The steel frame and three-layer lifting air bar are presented as structural components, but the description doesn’t provide independent durability results. Assembly instructions are included, along with a one-month free replacement offer and a one-year parts warranty, as stated by the seller.
Practical doubts
How far back does the chair recline? The listed range is 90° to 150°, with the footrest retracting when it isn’t in use.
Does it include neck and back support? Yes. It comes with an adjustable headrest pillow and lumbar support, both can be repositioned to suit your preferred setup.
Is the 400 lb rating a seat-width measurement? No. It’s the stated weight capacity. The listed 21L × 21W × 51H-inch measurements are maximum overall dimensions, not a separate seat-width measurement. That distinction matters if fit is your main concern, the capacity is a stated limit on the spec sheet, not a substitute for checking the dimensions against your space.
Final verdict
Not the best choice if you specifically need fabric upholstery, a confirmed seat-width measurement, or a design without a reclining footrest. If the listed dimensions suit your setup and you’ll use the recline and adjustable supports, this chair’s combination of a high back, footrest, and stated 400 lb capacity is a practical fit for gaming and desk use. A simpler task chair may make more sense if you only need an upright seat and don’t expect to use the reclining features.
