GDNVBRDS Cross-1 Outdoor Privacy Screen, Black Cross Metal, 3-Panel

For a patio, balcony, or garden that needs more visual separation without feeling fully enclosed, the GDNVBRDS Cross-1 adds a decorative boundary. Its open geometric panels allow light and airflow through. The freestanding three-panel design can also serve as an indoor divider.

Practical tips

Set the connected panels where you want to define a seating, dining, or relaxation area. The screen measures 72" high by 46" wide, giving it a tall profile with a relatively narrow footprint for patios, decks, porches, and balconies. Its black cross pattern adds a decorative backdrop while helping create a sense of separation.

The screen has wide 19.7" support feet and includes hardware for securing it to a suitable surface. Assemble the panels and feet with the included hardware before outdoor use, following the illustrated instructions and matching letter labels. An electric screwdriver is recommended for faster assembly. For wider visual coverage, additional sets can be placed side by side. Move the screen indoors during strong winds, heavy rain, or severe weather.

Pros

The powder-coated steel construction gives this divider a metal alternative to plastic privacy screens. Its open pattern helps preserve airflow and natural light, making it useful when a solid barrier would feel too closed in. Use it to separate a balcony seating spot, create a patio backdrop, or visually screen garden tools, trash cans, or an air-conditioning unit. Indoors, it can define areas in a bedroom, office, sunroom, or apartment.

Buyers often praise the screen’s appearance, assembly, and the added privacy it provides while still letting light through. Feedback on durability is mixed: some buyers report rusting after use, while others are pleased with the panel. These impressions can help set expectations, while the documented powder-coated steel construction and open design explain the product’s intended use.

Compared with a fully solid divider, this geometric screen offers a more open look and supports airflow through the panel. That makes it a practical choice for creating a visual boundary while keeping the space feeling connected to its surroundings.

What matters most

This is a freestanding, three-panel screen designed to create partial privacy rather than a closed wall. Its 72" height helps establish a clear visual division, while the 46" width fits a range of outdoor and indoor layouts. The black cross design gives the panel a decorative role, so it can frame a seating area or backdrop as well as screen selected views.

The labeled parts and illustrated instructions make the assembly process easier to follow by helping identify the main components. Once assembled, the support feet and included securing hardware help anchor the screen to a suitable surface. For a patio or balcony, position it where it can define the area you want while preserving the open feel that comes from its geometric pattern.

Buying verdict

Choose the GDNVBRDS Cross-1 when you want a tall decorative divider that adds partial privacy without blocking all light and airflow. Its metal construction, freestanding three-panel layout, and flexible indoor or outdoor placement suit patios, balconies, decks, gardens, and rooms where a defined boundary is useful but a solid partition is not the goal.
