Vexwalx VX-TY-6001-P-1-Black Aluminum Outdoor Lounge Chair, 5-Position Textilene

A five-position backrest lets you shift between sitting up and reclining, so this Vexwalx lounge chair can serve for reading, poolside downtime, or sunbathing. Its aluminum frame and Textilene mesh seat are designed for outdoor use.

The black, armless chaise comes as a single chair. Its listed dimensions are 74.8"D x 22.64"W x 13.39"H, with a maximum weight recommendation of 400 pounds.

Is an adjustable lounger more useful than a fixed-position chair? The multiple backrest settings offer more flexibility, while the straightforward design keeps the focus on lounging rather than extra features.

Practical tips

Assembly is required, and instructions are included. Once assembled, the chair is intended for outdoor settings such as a patio, deck, balcony, or pool area. The product information also lists grass as a possible surface. For a level, stable setup, choose a spot that suits the chair’s long footprint and leaves room to get in and out comfortably.

The frame is powder-coated aluminum, and the seat is Textilene mesh. The listed care instruction is to wipe clean, the product description also recommends soap, water, and a soft brush for cleaning. That makes routine upkeep a simple consideration for a chair used outdoors, where dust or splashes may be part of everyday use. It suits you if you want an adjustable outdoor lounger that can move between sitting and reclining. The listing specifies one chair per pack, not a set.

What you’ll notice day to day

The backrest has five positions, giving you a choice beyond a single fixed angle. For example, you could sit more upright to read, then recline further when relaxing by the pool. The mesh seat is described as breathable, while the aluminum frame gives the chair a different feel from a heavier solid-wood lounger. Buyers also describe the chair as lightweight and easy to move, and comment favorably on its appearance and versatility.

There is a trade-off in its simple, armless layout: it does not provide armrests for support while sitting up. Size feedback is mixed, with some buyers saying the chair feels small or does not leave enough room for their arms. Its listed width is 22.64 inches, so those who prefer a wider seat or armrests may want to consider a different style. It’s not for you if those features are essential to how you plan to lounge.

What to know

This is an outdoor chaise with a synthetic Textilene seat, an aluminum frame, and a powder-coated finish. The manufacturer describes the frame and fabric as suited to outdoor exposure, but the product details do not specify a maintenance schedule or a storage cover. The chair is listed for adults and relaxing, with a hard floor noted as a surface recommendation, the feature description also names settings such as pool decks, patios, and balconies.

The chair’s long dimensions make it a more dedicated lounging choice than a compact patio seat. A fixed-back chair may suit someone who wants a simpler seating position, while this model is aimed at people who value adjustable recline. The package includes one chair, and assembly is required. The product information gives a maximum weight recommendation of 400 pounds.

Should you buy it?

Consider this Vexwalx if an adjustable backrest, an outdoor mesh seat, and a lightweight design match the way you plan to use your patio or pool area. Its five positions offer more flexibility than a fixed-angle lounger, and the wipe-clean care instruction may appeal if you prefer a simple routine. If you need armrests, a wider lounging surface, or a multi-chair set, the listed design and single-chair pack may not meet those needs.
