GARUTED BK 06 Rechargeable Bug Zapper with 5000mAh Battery and LED Night Light
Product description
At 5.63 inches wide and 11.81 inches tall, the GARUTED BK 06 is a compact bug zapper for indoor or outdoor use. It runs on a rechargeable 5000mAh battery and also provides an LED night light. A hanging hook gives you another way to position it around a patio, garden, or backyard.
Tips for day-to-day use
The zapper uses 365–400 nm UV light to attract insects toward a 4000V electrical grid. Its built-in light sensor supports automatic operation: in auto mode, the unit is described as turning on in dim light and switching off at dawn. That can suit an outdoor evening setup where you would rather not manage the switch manually. The product also has three modes, though the available information does not explain each mode in detail.
For a barbecue, dinner outside, or time spent relaxing in the yard, you can place it nearby or hang it from the top hook. The product is listed for settings including patios, gardens, balconies, and camping. Bright surroundings can reduce the light’s appeal to houseflies, so a dimmer placement is the more suitable choice when attracting those insects matters. Its IP66 rating and ABS housing are specified for outdoor conditions, but the listing does not describe a particular care routine.
Buyers have described the device as versatile and effective, and some appreciate being able to recharge it. Some also report long battery life, but no runtime is specified, so those comments do not establish how long it will operate between charges. Worth considering if you want a cordless unit that combines insect control with a night light. It’s not for you if you need a stated runtime or detailed guidance on what each of the three modes does.

Benefits
The main appeal is the combination of cordless operation, an insect-attracting UV light, and a separate night-light function in one unit. That makes it a different approach from a basic plug-in zapper: it can be positioned where a corded model may be less convenient, though the available information does not state charging time or operating runtime. The built-in sensor adds an automatic option, while manual use remains relevant for people who want to control when the device is on.
The listed coverage is up to 2,300 sq. ft., and the manufacturer describes the unit as suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Treat that figure as a stated coverage area rather than a guarantee of results in every layout or lighting condition. The physical grid is described as a no-chemical, odorless method, the listing does not provide further details about keeping people or pets at a particular distance while it operates.
Final verdict
The GARUTED BK 06 makes sense for someone seeking a rechargeable zapper that can be hung or placed near an outdoor gathering area and doubles as an LED night light. Its sensor, stated IP66 rating, and compact dimensions add practical flexibility. If your decision depends on exact battery runtime, charging details, or a clear breakdown of all three modes, those specifics are not provided here.
