GALAYOU Indoor Security Cameras, 4-Pack

If you mainly need a way to check on a room from your phone, this four-camera set is built around remote viewing and two-way communication. If you need battery-powered cameras or 5GHz Wi-Fi support, its setup is less flexible.

The cameras offer 2K video, pan-and-tilt control, night vision, motion alerts, and a built-in siren. They’re designed for indoor use, including checking on pets, babies, or activity around the home.

Power comes from a cord, so you won’t need to recharge a battery—but each camera does need to stay plugged in.

What to know

The G2 set includes four indoor cameras that connect through an app. You can view up to four live feeds at once and share access with up to three family members, which is useful when more than one person wants to check in. The cameras also support two-way audio, so you can speak through the app rather than just watch silently.

Motion alerts go to your phone, and the listing says a 10-second video clip is saved to the app when movement is detected. A built-in siren is also included. For recording, you can use a TF card for continuous footage, the card is sold separately. Cloud storage is another option, with a 30-day trial noted in the listing.

Keep in mind that these cameras support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, not 5GHz. The view is described as wide-angle, but no field-of-view figure is provided, so judging exact room coverage without that measurement is difficult.

Best use cases

This setup makes sense for checking a nursery, living room, or pet area remotely. For example, you could open the app while away, check whether your dog has settled down, and use two-way talk if you want to get its attention. Infrared night vision is listed for viewing in the dark, with a stated range of up to 32 feet.

A solid pick if you want several indoor views in one app and value remote pan-and-tilt control over a fixed camera. By contrast, someone who only needs one simple view may prefer a single-camera setup, while a buyer who needs wireless placement should look for a battery-powered design.

Tips for day-to-day use

Plan camera positions around nearby outlets, since these are plug-in models rather than battery cameras. For continuous local recording, you’ll need to supply a TF card, if you don’t add one, the listing also describes app clips and a cloud-storage option. Check the app’s live feeds after setup to make sure each camera covers the area you care about, especially since no precise viewing angle is specified.

The cameras are intended for indoor monitoring, not a stated outdoor installation. If you want several rooms covered, the four-feed view can make it easier to check them together instead of opening each camera separately.

Practical doubts

Will these cameras connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi? No. The listing specifies 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and says 5GHz is not supported.

Is a TF card included? The description says the card is sold separately and is needed for continuous local recording.

Can I talk through the cameras? Yes. Each camera is described as having a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio through the app.

Final verdict

The GALAYOU G2 4-pack is worth considering if you want multiple indoor views, phone alerts, night vision, and two-way talk without buying cameras one at a time. The trade-offs are practical: you’ll need 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, outlets for every camera, and a separate TF card for continuous local recording. Not the best choice if you need battery operation, 5GHz compatibility, or a precise published viewing angle before deciding where to place each camera.
