GAIOUS FT-02 79-Inch Metal Storage Cabinet, Lockable with 5 Adjustable Shelves

Open storage makes everyday items easy to reach, while enclosed storage helps keep supplies out of sight. The GAIOUS FT-02 brings those needs together in a tall, freestanding steel cabinet with two doors and a key lock. Use its adjustable shelves to organize pantry goods, files, tools, or household supplies around the items you store.

How to use it

Place the cabinet in a home office, kitchen, garage, hallway, or other suitable room, then arrange the five shelves to suit your belongings. The shelves can be removed and adjusted in height, giving you flexibility for folders, books, cleaning supplies, or taller containers. For example, in a home office, you can group files and supplies behind the doors while keeping the cabinet’s floor-standing footprint in one defined area.

The two doors open independently, and the central key lock lets you secure the storage compartment. Adjustable feet help level the cabinet on the floor, and the included anti-tip device provides an additional installation measure. Assembly is required, the illustrated manual and installation hardware are included, and two adults are recommended for setup. The stated assembly estimate is 60 to 90 minutes.

Why it’s worth it

This cabinet combines vertical storage with closed-door organization, making it useful when a room needs more capacity without leaving supplies on open shelves. The five adjustable levels let you tailor the interior to a changing mix of files, pantry goods, towels, or tools. Its metal construction and powder-coated finish suit practical storage areas, while the black finish works in a home office or utility space as well as a garage.

Compared with choosing open shelving for immediate visibility, this design offers a lockable compartment for documents, personal supplies, or items you prefer to store behind doors. Customer feedback often praises the appearance and usefulness as a pantry, and some appreciate the storage capacity for smaller apartments. Feedback is mixed on size and assembly guidance, and some buyers report arriving doors with dents or bends. These reports are individual experiences, not a measure of every unit.

Is it worth it?

The GAIOUS FT-02 is a practical fit when you want one tall cabinet to organize different kinds of household or work items behind a key-locked pair of doors. Its adjustable steel shelves help make the interior work for both smaller supplies and taller belongings, while the freestanding design supports use across rooms such as the kitchen, home office, or garage. Choose it for flexible, enclosed storage where adjustable shelf spacing and a lockable cabinet are useful.
