Akro-Mils 10144 44-Drawer Storage Cabinet, 20-Inch, Red and Black

Forty-four drawers give small parts a dedicated place, making it easier to sort supplies and keep them accessible. The Akro-Mils 10144 cabinet is made from high-impact plastic and measures 20" W x 6" D x 16" H. Use it on a countertop or mount it on a wall to suit your workspace.

Fit and sizing

The cabinet’s 20-inch width and 6-inch depth make it a practical organizer for a workbench, classroom, craft area, or home office. Its 44 drawers separate small items by type, so screws, nails, batteries, beads, sewing supplies, and other craft materials can each have a designated spot. The large drawers measure 6" x 4-9/16" x 2-3/16" externally, the small drawers measure 6" x 2-7/32" x 1-9/16" externally. This mix of drawer sizes helps accommodate supplies that vary in shape and quantity.

For a hands-on project, sort fasteners by size and type, then keep the cabinet near the bench so each group is easy to find. In a classroom or craft room, the drawers can organize art materials, stickers, or small building pieces. Buyers often appreciate the cabinet for sorting and organization, while feedback on its size and durability varies. The listed dimensions and drawer measurements can help you choose a suitable place and use for it.

Why it’s worth it

Unlike open trays, which leave small items exposed in shared compartments, this cabinet gives supplies individual pull-out drawers. Finger-pull tabs make the drawers easy to access, and rear stop tabs help prevent them from sliding out with their contents. Included dividers add another way to separate items. The red-and-black cabinet is made in the USA from rugged, high-impact plastic, with a design suited to garages, workshops, classrooms, and craft spaces.

Use it freestanding on a counter or work surface, stack cabinets securely, or use the keyhole slots for wall mounting. That choice makes it easier to arrange storage around the available workspace. It makes sense if you want many small supplies organized in one cabinet rather than spread across separate containers.
