Gadged iPhone 17 Pro Max Case

If your priority is a bare, low-profile feel, a simple shell may be a better fit. If you want more of the phone covered, this Gadged case combines raised edges, covered ports, and a screen protector.

Its frosted, semi-transparent back keeps the phone’s color partly visible while aiming to resist fingerprints. The purple finish gives it a more distinctive look than a clear case.

The tradeoff is a protection-first design rather than a minimalist one. The listing describes drop protection as military-grade, but does not provide a drop-test height, so that claim is difficult to compare directly with other cases.

Key specifications

The GPro Air is made for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. It has U-shaped cushions along the top and bottom edges, raised borders around the screen and camera, and a frosted semi-transparent back. Gadged also describes the case as shock-absorbing and says its port covers help keep dust and debris out.

A 2.5D tempered-glass screen protector is included, extending the coverage beyond the case itself. The listing says the glass is designed to preserve touch response and display clarity. That is useful for someone setting up a new phone who would rather fit front protection at the same time as the case, though no details are given about replacement protectors or installation accessories.

The case is listed as MagSafe compatible, with N52+ rare-earth magnets for attaching MagSafe chargers, car mounts, or power banks. Its integrated camera-control buttons use metal layers and conductive interfaces, intended to support swipes, clicks, and photo capture while the case stays on. Gadged includes a 180-day limited warranty.

Who it’s for

A solid pick if you want one purchase to cover the phone’s back, screen, camera edges, and everyday MagSafe use. Picture setting the phone down on a desk or sliding it into a bag: the raised borders and covered ports are meant to add protection at common contact points, while the included glass protects the front.

The camera-control feature may also appeal if you use that control often and prefer not to remove the case to operate it. Keep in mind that covered ports and a more protective layout prioritize coverage over the open, barely-there feel of a simple shell. Not the best choice if you want an especially minimal case or prefer to choose a screen protector separately.

In the box

The product description specifies the case and a 2.5D tempered-glass screen protector. It does not list additional accessories, so don’t assume that an applicator, cleaning kit, or spare glass is included. The phone itself is not listed as part of the contents.

Before you decide

Does the case include a screen protector? Yes. The description says a 2.5D tempered-glass protector comes with the case.

Can it attach to MagSafe accessories? It is described as MagSafe compatible, including use with chargers, car mounts, and power banks. The listing does not provide a measured holding force.

Are the ports left open? No. Gadged describes port covers intended to block dust, dirt, and debris. If you prefer unobstructed port openings, that design may not suit your handling preferences.

Buying verdict

This case makes the most sense for an iPhone 17 Pro Max owner who wants screen glass included, edge coverage, port covers, and built-in MagSafe compatibility in one setup. Its camera-control interface and frosted purple back add practical and visual details beyond a basic protective shell. Choose a simpler case instead if low-profile handling matters more than broad coverage, or if you want to select each protective accessory on its own.
