A dark closet, pantry, or hallway can be easier to navigate with a ceiling light that does not need hardwiring. Would a motion-activated light that you can remove for charging suit that spot? How to use it
Attach the included metal plate to the ceiling, then mount the light magnetically so the unit can be removed when it needs charging. This cordless setup avoids running a wired ceiling connection, which may suit a rental space or an indoor area without a convenient light fixture. The product is intended for indoor use and is described as water resistant, with bathroom use among its suggested applications.
Choose Day mode to let the motion sensor activate throughout the day, or Night mode for activation in low-light conditions. Steady mode provides continuous light. Use the controls on the fixture or the remote to select one of the three color temperatures and five brightness levels. The manufacturer estimates about 1–2 months in motion-sensor mode and up to 10 hours in steady mode, actual runtime varies with brightness. A full charge takes about 8 hours, so it is worth planning for charging rather than treating it like a permanently powered ceiling fixture.
In the box
The listed contents are the light’s metal mounting sheets and a remote control. The fixture attaches magnetically, making it removable for charging. USB-C charging is specified, but a charging cable is not listed among the included components.
Practical questions
Can it stay on continuously? Yes. Steady mode is available, with up to 10 hours of continuous operation stated, brightness affects runtime.
Can the light settings be changed? Yes. The light offers three color temperatures and five brightness levels, adjustable on the fixture or with the remote.
What do buyers say about battery life? Feedback is mixed. Some buyers say the charge lasts a long time, while others report needing to recharge daily. That difference makes expected runtime an important consideration if the light will see frequent use.
Should you buy it?
A solid pick if you need a removable, battery-powered ceiling light for an indoor spot where wiring is inconvenient, and you want motion sensing plus adjustable brightness and color temperature. Compared with a hardwired fixture, the magnetic mount and rechargeable design offer a different kind of flexibility, but they also mean charging is part of ongoing use. Not the best choice if you need uninterrupted, always-on lighting without recharging. For occasional motion-triggered use in a closet or pantry, its cordless format and remote-controlled settings are the main reasons to consider it.
