Fotbor iPhone SE 2020/2022 Privacy Screen Protector, 9H Tempered Glass, 2-Pack

The privacy filter helps keep your iPhone screen for your eyes alone when you’re using it around other people. This tempered-glass protector is made for the 4.7-inch iPhone SE (2020 and 2022), combining a privacy screen with everyday screen protection.

Need to check a message on the bus or in an elevator? The filtered view is designed to make the screen visible to someone directly in front of it, helping limit casual side viewing in public.

You get two glass protectors, plus an installation tray and cleaning kit. The thin 0.33 mm profile is designed to preserve screen sensitivity while adding a protective layer.

Tech summary

• Type: Privacy screen protector
• Material: Tempered glass
• Screen size: 4.7 inches
• Thickness: 0.33 mm
• Surface: 9H hardness, with hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings
• Finish: Glossy
• Included: Two glass screen protectors, installation tray, and cleaning kit

The 9H surface is designed to resist scratches, while the glass helps protect against minor drops, bumps, and everyday wear. Its water- and oil-repellent coatings help reduce sweat, fingerprints, and oily residue on the screen. That makes it a practical choice for frequent phone use, from checking notifications on a commute to handling everyday tasks between stops. The privacy filter darkens the image to limit nearby viewing, so adjust your iPhone’s brightness to suit your preference.

Compatibility & requirements

This protector is designed for the 4.7-inch iPhone SE (2nd generation, 2020) and iPhone SE (3rd generation, 2022). The installation tray helps align the glass, while the cleaning kit supports preparation before application. The protector is intentionally a little smaller than the iPhone SE 2020 screen, helping it avoid the curved edges where an overlapping protector could bubble or lift. Center it carefully during installation for an even fit.

Who it’s for

Choose this two-pack if you want a privacy-focused screen protector for everyday use in shared spaces, along with a spare glass protector. It suits you if you often use your phone on public transit, in elevators, or in other places where people may be nearby. Compared with a clear protector designed for easy viewing from different angles, this option puts more emphasis on limiting side visibility.

Buyers often praise how easy the protector is to install, including the usefulness of the installation kit. Feedback on the privacy effect is mixed: some find it effective, while others say it does not provide the level of privacy they wanted. The filtered screen is intended for viewing from directly in front, and its darker appearance is part of that privacy-focused design.

Final verdict

For iPhone SE owners who want tempered-glass protection and a privacy filter in one accessory, Fotbor’s two-pack brings both together with an alignment tray and cleaning kit for installation. It is especially suited to checking your phone in public settings, where reducing casual side viewing is a priority.
