Five Star Spiral Notebook 200 Sheets

When classes or projects call for separate places to keep notes, this six-pack of Five Star spiral notebooks gives you a five-subject layout in each notebook, plus an app for scanning and organizing pages. The college-ruled sheets are perforated for easy removal, so you can hand in a page without tearing it out of the spiral. A water-resistant cover, storage pockets, and dividers help with the less glamorous part of school: keeping papers together as you move between class, home, and study time. You’ll appreciate it if you want paper notes with a digital backup, if you prefer a digital-first workflow, the paper-and-app combination may be more than you need.

Getting the most from it

Use the four two-pocket dividers in each notebook to separate subjects, then tuck loose sheets or handouts into the pockets. Each pocket is designed to hold loose pages up to 8-1/2" x 11", and the tough pocket material helps resist tearing. For a practical routine, scan a set of class notes after a lecture, make flashcards in the Five Star App, and sync the notes to Google Drive for access from another device. That gives a paper notebook a useful role in a study setup without asking you to type every page.

The 200 double-sided sheets in each notebook are college ruled and designed to fight ink bleed. They’re also perforated, and measure 8-1/2" x 11" when torn out. The covers resist water, which is helpful for everyday bag carry, but they aren’t described as waterproof. If you need to carry an oversized handout, its fit can’t be assumed without that measurement.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is the mix of organization and flexibility: five subjects in one notebook, pockets for loose pages, and a scan-to-study app rather than paper alone. That can be less cumbersome than carrying a separate basic notebook for every subject, especially when you want to keep handwritten notes but also search or review them digitally. The six-pack also gives you multiple notebooks to assign across classes or projects, with assorted colors including black, fire red, Pacific blue, forest green, white, and amethyst purple.

There are a few practical boundaries. The app features are useful only if scanning and syncing fit your routine, and the source information doesn’t specify device requirements. The guarantee is for one year from purchase or delivery, whichever is longer, and excludes misuse. The paper is SFI-certified, and the notebook is recyclable after removing the reinforcement tape on the pocket.

Buying verdict

It may not suit you if you need waterproof protection, a stated level of ink-bleed prevention for a particular pen, or confirmed app compatibility for a specific device, those details aren’t provided. But for someone who wants a physical five-subject notebook and plans to use scans or flashcards as a study aid, this set covers more ground than a plain spiral notebook. Choose it for organized handwritten notes that can also move into a digital study routine, choose a simpler paper-only format if the app and built-in subject dividers would go unused.
