Filten Basketball Journal, A6

Quick overview

If you want a dedicated place for basketball notes and sketches, rather than a full-size notebook for longer writing sessions, this compact journal is built around quick, everyday use.

The set includes an embossed basketball-themed PU leather notebook, a metal ballpoint pen, and a greeting card in a gift box. That makes it easy to give as-is, while the sporty cover gives it a more personal feel than a plain notebook.

Inside, lined pages handle organized notes and blank pages leave room for doodles or brainstorming. Card slots and a zippered pouch add space for small essentials, so the notebook can do a little more than hold paper.

Quick sizing guide

The notebook is listed as A6 and measures approximately 7.9 x 4.7 inches. It has 70 sheets, or 140 double-sided pages, with a mix of lined and blank pages. That compact format is handy for a backpack, purse, or gym bag, but offers less room for extended writing than a larger journal. If you need it to fit a particular pocket, measure that pocket first, without that measurement, the listed dimensions may not tell you how easily it will slide in.

A solid pick if the intended use is jotting down practice reminders, recording a game takeaway, or keeping quick lists between school and basketball. It might not be a great match if you want a large writing surface or a notebook devoted entirely to lined pages.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the lined side for practice plans, game notes, or to-dos, then turn to a blank page for a play sketch or a quick idea. For example, after practice, a player could write down one drill to revisit and draw a simple court setup on the blank side. The included pen keeps the basic kit together, and the card slots and zippered pouch can hold cash, cards, or an ID alongside the notebook.

The PU leather cover is described as suited to daily wear, and the embossed design is intended to resist fading and peeling. Still, this is a small organizer, not a replacement for a full-size notebook or a dedicated wallet, think of the extra storage as useful for a few small items rather than a reason to carry everything in it.

Before you decide

Does it come with a pen? Yes. The set includes a metal ballpoint pen, as well as a greeting card and gift box.

Are the pages all lined? No. The listing describes a dual-page interior with half blank pages and half lined pages, for both freeform sketches and structured notes.

Can the notebook be refilled? It is described as refillable, but the available details do not specify the refill format or whether replacement pages are included. If replacing the paper is important, that detail is worth confirming before you buy.

Buying verdict

This basketball journal makes the most sense as a portable place for short notes, sketches, and reminders, especially when the basketball design and ready-to-gift presentation matter. The mixed page layout and small storage features give it more everyday utility than a basic blank notebook, while a larger journal is the better route for roomy writing or extensive planning. Choose it for a compact, sport-themed set, skip it if page space or clearly specified refill options are your priority.
