Fisnish 27 x 40-Inch Black Poster Frame with Clear Plexiglass

A clear plexiglass front keeps a large poster or print easy to see, while the no-mat design lets the artwork fill the frame. The Fisnish 27 x 40-inch frame has a classic matte black look and can be hung horizontally or vertically, so you can choose the orientation that suits your wall and artwork.

Its spring-loaded back makes it simple to insert or replace a poster. Use it to display a movie poster, artwork, or a photo in a living room, bedroom, office, or gallery wall.

What you’ll notice day to day

With no mat between the frame and the artwork, the display area extends to the edges of the poster. That makes this format a natural fit for prints designed to fill a 27 x 40-inch frame, especially when you want the image itself to take center stage. The clear front provides visibility while framing the piece, and the black finish gives the display a defined border that works with a range of décor styles.

The frame supports both horizontal and vertical wall display, which helps when arranging artwork with different layouts or fitting a poster into an available wall space. When it is time to change the display, the spring-loaded back panel allows the poster to be replaced without a complicated setup.

What to know

This rectangular poster frame is made with an engineered wood frame and an MDF backing. Its matte black finish keeps the look understated, while the clear plexiglass front protects the display surface. Protective films cover both sides of the plexiglass, remove them before displaying your artwork. The frame is designed for wall mounting and has pre-installed hanging hardware.

Buyers often highlight the frame’s appearance and the way its clear front shows artwork. Feedback on sturdiness and plexiglass condition is mixed, with some buyers reporting cracks or scratches. These comments are individual experiences, but they offer useful context when choosing a frame for a poster you want to display prominently.

If you are deciding between a matted frame and a full-display format, this design keeps the visible area focused on the poster rather than adding a border of mat board. The 27 x 40-inch size is suited to large posters and artwork, for a clean edge-to-edge presentation, match the print to the frame’s stated size.

Usage tips

Choose the horizontal or vertical orientation before mounting the frame, then use the pre-installed hanging hardware. To change the display, open the spring-loaded back, position the poster, and close the backing. Peel the protective films from both sides of the plexiglass so the front is ready to show the artwork clearly.

Buying verdict

For a large poster that deserves a simple, prominent wall display, the Fisnish frame brings together a matte black border, clear plexiglass, and flexible orientation in one classic format. It is a practical match for movie posters, prints, and photos when you want the artwork to fill the frame without a mat, and the replaceable backing makes it easier to refresh the display as your space or collection changes.
