Benefits

The integrated cooling fan and hollow housing improve thermal performance, which supports the quoted long lifespan according to the manufacturer. The built-in IC driver and CANbus readiness minimize error codes and ease integration with most vehicle systems, though some rare models may still need a decoder as noted by the maker.

Best use cases

This pack of two is useful for drivers who want sharper fog and backup lighting with minimal installation work. It’s a solid option if you value a halogen-like beam shape but need a much higher light output and longer service life. It’s worth noting that for a very small number of vehicles you may need a decoder to avoid dashboard warnings, so check compatibility before purchase.

Getting the most from it

Install one pair at a time and test alignment to preserve beam pattern and avoid glare. You’ll appreciate if your vehicle has space for the factory-size fit, because the 1:1 design keeps housing fitment simple and tidy. Keep the housing seals in good condition to maintain the IP68 protection and prolong bulb life.
