Evyhood EVY 001 Moss 8' x 10' Floral Washable Low-Pile Area Rug

Some rooms need a rug that adds pattern, others call for a softer look that sits comfortably alongside existing decor. The Evyhood EVY 001 brings a vintage floral design to a large indoor area rug. Could botanical detail feel distinctive without taking over the room? Its muted palette and low-pile profile make it a practical fit for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining rooms.

Usage tips

The low-pile surface has a soft feel underfoot and a 0.25-inch thickness, giving the rug a slim profile for everyday rooms. Its polyester construction and machine-washable care make routine cleanup more straightforward: use a vacuum, broom, or damp cloth for everyday debris, and machine wash when a deeper clean is needed. The floral pattern brings visual interest while the moss green, olive, and muted rose tones sit against a warm oatmeal-colored background.

The backing is made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR) and is designed to help the rug stay in place on common indoor floors, including hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, and concrete. Place it in a living area to define a seating zone, under a dining table to add pattern, or in a bedroom for a softer landing beside the bed. For a room where a plain, solid-color rug would feel too understated, this botanical design adds detail while keeping its colors subdued.

Where it shines

At 8' x 10', this rectangular area rug covers a broad section of floor, helping tie furniture together in a living room or bring a coordinated look to a bedroom or dining room. Its traditional floral motif draws on vintage botanical styling, while the moss and neutral taupe tones suit decor that calls for color without a high-contrast palette. The low pile is designed to limit the buildup of pet hair and everyday debris in the fibers, and the smooth surface supports easy movement for household members and pets.

Buyer feedback is positive about the rug’s softness, color, and ease of cleaning. Opinions are more mixed on how well it stays in place and on its thickness, some customers also mention creases that remain, while others report no wrinkles. These impressions offer a useful sense of the range of experiences, alongside the rug’s stated low-pile construction and TPR backing.
