Etekcity Rechargeable Smart Scale, White, with Bluetooth Tracking and Secret Mode

A basic scale answers one question: what do you weigh today? The Etekcity Rechargeable Smart Scale adds app-based body composition tracking, so you can follow a broader set of measurements over time instead of relying on a single number.

Its white design pairs a bright LED display with Bluetooth syncing to the VeSync app, plus a rechargeable battery and built-in carry handle for convenient everyday use.

What matters most

The scale displays weight in increments as small as 0.1 lb. Connect it to the VeSync app to access 12 additional body composition metrics, including BMI, body fat, and muscle mass, for 13 tracked biometrics in total. Daily, weekly, and monthly graphs make it easier to see how measurements change over time and keep your progress in context.

The app also offers personalized diet and workout advice based on your biometric information. If you prefer not to share an exact reading, turn on Secret Mode: the display shows progress from your previous check-in without revealing your weight. That gives you a more private way to share progress with others.

For different household needs, Baby Mode lets you weigh a little one while holding them. Zero-Current Mode measures weight and BMI without electrical current passing through your body. The scale also syncs with Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Samsung Health, and MyFitnessPal, making it easier to bring readings into the health app you already use. Would seeing trends across several measurements help you make sense of your routine? The app’s graphs are designed to make those changes easier to follow.

How to use it

Use the scale for a weight reading on its LED display, then connect it to VeSync over Bluetooth to access the additional metrics and progress graphs. USB charging means you can recharge it instead of changing batteries, while the built-in handle makes it easier to carry between rooms or store when not in use. Choose Baby Mode when weighing a child in your arms, or Zero-Current Mode when you want a weight and BMI reading without current passing through your body.

Everyday use

For a morning check-in, the scale can show your weight at a glance and send the broader set of measurements to VeSync for tracking. Later, daily, weekly, or monthly graphs can help you review patterns rather than focusing on one reading. You can also sync data with a compatible health app from the list above to keep your tracking in one place. Compared with a weight-only scale, this model is geared toward people who want app-based trends, multiple biometrics, and sharing options alongside a regular weight reading.

Is it worth it?

If your goal is simply to read your weight on a display, a basic scale may cover that need. The Etekcity brings more to a tracking-focused routine: 13 biometrics through the scale and app, progress graphs, Secret Mode, and syncing with several popular health platforms. Rechargeable power and a carry handle add practical flexibility at home, while Baby Mode and Zero-Current Mode serve specific weighing preferences. It is listed as FSA- and HSA-eligible, too. For someone who wants a rechargeable scale that supports ongoing app-based tracking as well as everyday weigh-ins, those features make it a useful fit.
