Etekcity CL10-2 Pack LED Camping Lanterns, 154 Lumens, Collapsible, 2-Pack

When a light needs to work during a blackout or at a campsite, an easy-to-store lantern can be more practical than relying on a fixed light source. The Etekcity CL10-2 Pack includes two battery-powered LED lanterns for keeping in an emergency kit or taking along outdoors.

Each lantern provides 360-degree illumination, with brightness adjusted by raising or lowering its collapsible body. It runs on three AA batteries, six are included for the pair.

One important boundary: the listing describes the lanterns as water resistant, not waterproof, and gives no immersion rating. They’re better suited to damp conditions than situations where they could be submerged.

Usage tips

Expand the lantern to turn it on, then adjust its height to change the amount of light. For a power outage, one can sit on a tabletop while the second stays in another room or in an emergency kit. At camp, its 360-degree light can illuminate a shared area or tent, and the compact collapsible design makes it easier to pack than a fixed-height lantern. A small compartment at the top provides space for keys, change, or spare batteries.

The stated maximum output is 154 lumens, and the listed battery life is up to 50 hours. Treat that runtime as a product specification rather than a guarantee for every brightness setting or use, the listing doesn’t explain the conditions behind the figure. The lanterns use standard AA batteries, which are included, so there’s no charging setup to manage before use.

Pros

The two-pack gives you a pair of lights for separate areas, and the collapsible form supports storage between trips or emergencies. Buyers often highlight brightness, compact size, and straightforward operation, including being able to turn the lantern on easily in the dark. They also describe the lights as useful for camping and household outages. Those impressions may help if convenience matters, though they don’t replace the listed output and runtime figures.

Compared with a basic single-purpose flashlight, a lantern spreads light around a room or campsite instead of concentrating it in one direction. That makes this design relevant for shared-area lighting, while a focused beam may be more suitable when you need to illuminate a specific distant point.

Should you buy it?

You’ll appreciate it if you want two compact, battery-operated lights for camping, outages, or an emergency kit, especially when broad area lighting is more useful than a narrow beam. Not the best choice if you need a waterproof lantern for submersion or a light with a documented beam distance: neither is established in the supplied specifications. For ordinary campsite and household use, the combination of 360-degree illumination, adjustable height, and included batteries gives this set a clear practical purpose.
