ESR Cyclone 2C589 Qi2.2 25W Magnetic Charger with Adjustable Stand

Set your iPhone on the ESR Cyclone while you take a call, browse, or stream at your desk. The magnetic charging pad keeps your phone positioned on an adjustable stand instead of flat on a surface. Want to move from a quick glance to hands-free viewing? Set the angle anywhere from 0–150° and use portrait or landscape orientation. Active cooling and Qi2.2 25W charging bring added convenience to everyday charging.

Where it shines

This charger suits a desk, nightstand, or other spot where you want to keep using your phone while it charges. The stand adjusts smoothly through a wide range of angles, making it easier to view notifications, follow a video, or take a call without holding the phone. Switch between portrait and landscape to match the task, then fold your charging routine into the same space you already use for your phone.

A flat wireless charging pad is a straightforward choice when the phone can stay out of sight. The Cyclone’s stand is the more practical fit when you want the screen in view, while its built-in CryoBoost fan actively cools the phone during charging. ESR reports that its lab testing found charging temperatures up to 11.7°F lower than with an official 25W MagSafe charger. The fan is rated under 25 dB, and the slim 15 mm profile helps the charger fit neatly into everyday spaces.

• Qi2.2 wireless charging: Supports charging up to 25W for compatible devices. ESR reports a lab-tested iPhone 17 Pro charge to 50% in 26 minutes.
• Adjustable magnetic stand: Offers a 0–150° viewing angle and supports portrait and landscape use. Magnetic strength is up to 1,200 g, or up to 2,000 g when used with an ESR magnetic case.
• CryoBoost active cooling: A built-in fan helps cool the phone during charging, its operation is rated under 25 dB.
• Broad phone compatibility: Works with iPhone 12 series and later models listed for the charger, including iPhone Air and iPhone Duo, as well as Samsung Galaxy S25 and S26 series. The iPhone 16e is excluded.

Best use cases

Choose this format when a charging spot also needs to serve as a viewing stand. It can keep a compatible phone visible during a video call, a streaming session, or a stretch of browsing, with the angle and orientation adjusted to suit the activity. The longer cable gives more flexibility in placing the charger on a desk or nightstand, while magnetic alignment makes setting down a compatible iPhone simple. For Samsung phones, allow the charger time to recognize the device before use, the manufacturer notes that charging may take about one minute to begin.

Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you want a single phone charger that combines Qi2.2 25W wireless charging, an adjustable viewing stand, and active cooling. It’s especially useful for people who keep their phone in view while working, streaming, or taking calls, and its listed compatibility covers a range of recent iPhone and Galaxy models. Pair it with the recommended USB-C PD adapter and use a compatible magnetic case where needed for a secure hold.
