Ensenior NY-6I-5CCT-12-WH-YY-M04 6-Inch LED Gimbal Lights, 12-Pack

The 6-inch recessed format pairs an aluminum fixture with a gimbal that rotates 360° and tilts up to 90°. That range lets you direct light toward a feature or area instead of relying only on fixed, downward-facing illumination.

This 12-pack offers five selectable white color temperatures, from 2700K to 5000K, plus dimming from 10% to 100%. It is designed for indoor ceiling installation.

Key points

Each light is rated at 1300 lumens, 12W, and 90+ CRI, with a 100° beam angle. The color temperature is selected using a switch on the junction box, while the dimming range provides another way to adjust the room’s lighting. The product is listed as ETL, FCC, and IC certified, the manufacturer specifies an IC rating for installation in a 2-inch ceiling space.

The directional design is useful when the goal is to highlight a wall, artwork, a room corner, or an area beneath a sloped ceiling. Compared with a fixed recessed light, the gimbal gives you more control over where the beam points. Its broad beam can still contribute to general room lighting, but the adjustable head is the main reason to choose this style.

Who it’s for

This set may suit a home project that needs multiple recessed lights with adjustable aim and selectable color temperature. For example, a room could use a warmer setting for a softer evening feel and a cooler setting when a brighter, more neutral tone is preferred. The 12-light quantity is relevant for larger installations or projects covering several areas, it may be more than needed for a single small replacement.

Buyers often highlight the directional adjustment, dimming, brightness, and ability to change the light color. Feedback on flickering is mixed, however. Although the product description specifies flicker-free dimming, some buyers report flickering, so individual experiences are not uniform.

Practical tips

The package includes a cutting template, gimbal lights, an instruction manual, and junction boxes. The product is described as a no-can recessed installation: use the supplied template to mark the opening and follow the included instructions. Check that the intended ceiling location and installation approach match the product’s recessed, ceiling-mount format before starting.

The lights are intended for indoor use and are not water resistant. That makes them a poor fit for locations where water resistance is required. The manufacturer lists a 5-year warranty. The listed fixture dimensions are 6.74 inches long by 6.74 inches wide by 1.87 inches high.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a multi-light set that can aim light in different directions and lets you select among five color temperatures, rather than a basic fixed recessed fixture. It can also suit a space where adjustable accent lighting and general illumination both matter. You may want to skip it if the installation is outdoors or needs a water-resistant fixture. For a room that calls for one consistent, fixed direction of light, a simpler recessed design may be a closer match.
