zouzai 4-inch LED recessed ceiling lights

For homeowners updating a kitchen, hallway, bedroom, or covered outdoor soffit, this six-pack of zouzai recessed LED lights offers a slim alternative to fixtures that need a traditional recessed can. Each light produces 810 lumens, and the five selectable color temperatures let you choose a warmer or cooler look at the junction box before installation.

The low-profile design needs as little as 2 inches of ceiling space, which can help when a deeper housing is a poor fit. If you prioritize adjustable light color and a slim profile, this set has practical appeal, if you prefer a fixture with built-in smart controls, those aren’t listed here.

Getting the most from it

Choose among 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K using the switch on the side of the junction box. That makes it easier to settle on a warmer tone for a bedroom or a cooler one for a work area before the light is tucked into the ceiling. The setting is selected at the box, so it isn’t described as something you can change from a wall switch after installation.

For a retrofit, the listed process is to mark and cut the ceiling opening with the included template, connect the junction box to the wiring, and secure the light with its spring clips. The 120V fixture is dimmable from 5% to 100%, though the listing says it works with most dimmers rather than every model. If dimming matters, check your existing dimmer’s compatibility before planning the installation.

Why it’s worth it

A six-pack is useful when you want a consistent look across several ceiling positions without choosing a fixed color temperature for the whole project. At 810 lumens per light and 9W, the listed output gives you a concrete comparison point for planning a room, actual results will still depend on spacing, ceiling layout, and the finish of the space.

The slim form can also avoid the need for a deep recessed can, and the IC rating means the fixture is listed as safe for direct contact with insulation. Its damp-location rating makes it suitable for places such as bathrooms or covered eaves, but the product information rules out direct water exposure. The aluminum housing is described as corrosion-resistant. ETL and Energy Star certifications are also listed.

The essentials

This is a 4-inch recessed LED light set with a junction box, white finish, 5CCT selection, and dimming support. Each fixture uses 9W and is rated at 810 lumens. The listing specifies 120V and as little as 2 inches of ceiling space, along with IC and damp-location ratings. On the spec sheet, those details make it a fit for shallow ceiling cavities and insulated areas, provided the location is not exposed to direct water.

You’ll appreciate it if you’re replacing several older ceiling lights and want to choose the color temperature room by room. Picture setting the box to a warm tone for a bedroom, then using a cooler setting for a hallway where a crisper appearance makes more sense. Better avoided if you need a light for an exposed, wet location or want to adjust its color temperature after it’s installed.

When it makes sense

This set suits projects where a slim, hardwired recessed fixture is more important than smart features or a conventional can-style housing. It may be a straightforward choice for a kitchen refresh, a row of hallway lights, or a covered soffit, as long as the ceiling opening and wiring work for this fixture. Compared with a basic fixed-color light, the five settings give you more choice at setup, compared with a more feature-rich system, the appeal here is a simpler, selectable LED design.

Choose it when the 4-inch format, 810-lumen output, and junction-box installation match your project. Skip it for areas that get direct water, or if your plan depends on app control or changing color temperature from the room after installation—those functions aren’t specified.
