Electactic LY2010 10L Compact Mini Fridge, AC/DC, Removable Shelf

AC/DC power gives the Electactic LY2010 more placement options than a countertop-only mini fridge: use the included AC cord indoors or the DC cord with a vehicle outlet. Its 10L size is intended for a small personal supply of drinks, snacks, or skincare products rather than full-size refrigerator storage.

The removable shelf lets you adjust the interior for different items, while a built-in handle makes the unit easier to move between locations. It has a white finish and one door.

Cooling is thermoelectric, so expectations matter: the stated maximum cooling difference is 32°F below the surrounding temperature, and results vary with the environment. That makes it more suited to personal convenience than to needs that depend on a tightly controlled temperature.

What matters most

The LY2010 combines a compact 10L capacity with AC and DC power cords. At 12.8 inches deep, 9.8 inches wide, and 13.9 inches high, it can fit on a desk or countertop where a standard refrigerator would take up too much room. The product weighs 8.4 pounds and includes a top carry handle, supporting occasional moves between home, office, or vehicle use.

Inside, the removable shelf and door shelf offer some flexibility for arranging smaller items. The manufacturer lists a manual defrost system, a door lock, and a glossy finish. These details may be useful for a personal-use setup, but the compact interior is not intended to replace a larger refrigerator for regular household groceries.

The cooling method is an important buying consideration. The stated maximum temperature difference is 32°F below ambient, and the product information notes that actual cooling varies with surrounding conditions. Buyers also report mixed experiences with how cold it gets: some say it keeps items cold, while others wish it reached a lower temperature. If you prioritize a specific storage temperature, match that requirement to the stated cooling performance rather than assuming it works like a full-size refrigerator.

How it fits

For a desk, dorm room, or office, the small footprint can keep a few personal items close by without dedicating space to a larger appliance. The removable shelf can be taken out to make room for taller containers. The included DC cord also supports use with a vehicle outlet, which adds flexibility for trips where a compact cooler-style appliance is more practical than carrying a larger refrigerator.

This is a different approach from buying a bigger unit for bulk food storage: the tradeoff is a smaller interior and thermoelectric cooling in exchange for a portable, personal-sized format. Leave room around the unit for ventilation, the product information specifies at least 3 inches of clearance on all sides.

Who it’s for

Worth considering if you want a small fridge for drinks, light snacks, or personal-care products and value having both indoor and vehicle power options. The feedback from buyers also points to office use and quiet operation as appreciated aspects, though those comments are individual impressions rather than a guarantee for every setting.

Not the best choice if you need a large storage area or dependable low-temperature control. Buyer feedback on temperature retention is mixed, so this is a less suitable fit when the exact coldness of stored items is essential. The compact capacity and stated cooling range are more relevant to everyday convenience than to demanding refrigeration needs.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Electactic LY2010 when the main goal is a small, movable place for a limited number of chilled items, with a shelf that can be removed and cords for home or vehicle use. For an office desk or a dorm room, that combination may be more useful than giving up space to a larger appliance. For food storage that requires a known, consistent temperature, or for storing substantially more than personal essentials, compare the stated thermoelectric cooling and 10L capacity with those requirements before deciding.
