Electactic HZB-15NG/S Nugget Ice Maker, Self-Cleaning Countertop Sonic Ice Machine

For kitchens, offices, and getaways where chewable nugget ice is part of the plan, the Electactic HZB-15NG/S makes soft pellet-style ice on the countertop. Its compact footprint suits smaller serving areas, while the portable design supports use at home, in an RV, or at a campsite. One-touch controls keep operation straightforward. Self-cleaning adds a convenient way to care for the machine between uses.

Getting the most from it

Use the machine when you want restaurant-style nugget ice for drinks, smoothies, or a casual get-together. The soft, chewable pieces are an easy fit for sipping throughout a movie night or adding texture to cocktails and other cold drinks. Their porous nugget form can take on drink flavors, bringing more than simple chilling to a glass.

Set it on a countertop or another suitable surface near a 110-volt power source, then use the one-touch control to operate it. For a home bar or office pantry, keeping the ice maker in a convenient serving area makes it easy to access fresh ice as needed. Its portable format also makes it suited to RV and camping setups where countertop ice production is useful. After use, the self-cleaning function helps simplify routine care without manual scrubbing as the central task.

What you’ll notice day to day

The main difference is the ice itself: soft, chewable nuggets offer a distinct alternative to standard hard cubes. They work well in everyday drinks and give smoothies or cocktails a pellet-ice texture. The included scoop and basket make it practical to handle and serve the ice without reaching into the machine by hand.

The compact dimensions help the unit fit into a kitchen or office serving area without requiring a large dedicated footprint. If your priority is chewable ice available close to where drinks are prepared, this countertop format offers a direct alternative to relying on ice trays or buying ready-made ice. The portable design also makes it useful when the serving location changes, such as moving between a home kitchen and an RV setup.
