EastPin GH-9 Rechargeable Neck Reading Light with Dual Lamps and 3 Color Temperatures

For readers and hobbyists who need hands-free light, the EastPin GH-9 wraps around the neck so both hands stay available for a book or detailed work.

Its rectangular panel spreads a soft beam across a reading or crafting area, while a separate round spotlight offers a more focused light. Flexible arms let you direct each light toward the task.

Choose from three color temperatures and stepless brightness adjustment on the rectangular lamp. Rechargeable power makes it convenient to take between home, travel, and outdoor activities.

The rectangular panel is designed to cast broad, even light over pages or a work surface, while the round spotlight provides a separate beam for more directed visibility. This gives the GH-9 a different approach from a single-spot reading light: it can illuminate a wider area for reading or handwork, with another light source available when a focused beam is useful. Short presses change the panel’s color temperature, pressing and holding adjusts its brightness.

Usage tips

Place the neck light around your shoulders and bend the arms to aim the beams at the page, craft, or nearby work area. For an evening reading session in bed or on the couch, the panel can spread light over an open book without requiring you to hold a lamp. When knitting, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, or other detail work, adjust the panel toward the project and select the brightness and color temperature that suit the task.

The spotlight can be useful when a more concentrated beam is preferable, such as checking gear while camping or finding your way around a campsite. The light is also suited to travel reading and activities such as fishing, hiking, and nighttime dog walking. For portable use, recharge it with its USB charging connection before heading out, the listed charging time is 4 hours. Its flexible arms also allow the light to be positioned for a tabletop use or a small night-light setup.

Buyers often praise the adjustable lighting, comfortable neck fit, and broad illumination for reading in bed or on the couch. Feedback on battery life and durability is mixed, so those experiences vary. The combination of adjustable positioning and two light sources is especially relevant for people who want one hands-free light for both reading and hobbies.

When it makes sense

The GH-9 suits readers who want to keep their hands free and aim light directly at a book, as well as crafters working on projects that benefit from adjustable illumination. The broad rectangular panel is useful when lighting a page or work area, while the separate spotlight offers a more focused alternative. Its rechargeable design and flexible arms also make it practical to bring along for travel or outdoor hobbies. Worth considering if you want one adjustable neck light for reading at home and hands-on tasks beyond the page.
