DREO DR-HSH004A Silver Portable Ceramic Space Heater, 1500W with ALCI Plug

The ALCI safety plug adds a bathroom-focused layer of protection, shutting off the heater in the event of a short circuit or contact with water. It brings targeted warmth to indoor spaces where a portable heater is useful.

With 1500W PTC ceramic heating, adjustable temperature control, and 70-degree oscillation, the DREO DR-HSH004A Silver lets you tailor the heat and direct it across the room.

A remote, touch controls, and a built-in handle make it easy to adjust or move between suitable indoor spaces. Five modes include three heat settings, Eco, and fan-only operation.

Practical tips

Use the heater on the floor in an indoor room such as a bathroom, bedroom, home office, or living room. For a chilly bathroom, set the thermostat and oscillation before getting ready, in a bedroom or office, the remote lets you adjust operation without reaching for the controls. The ALCI plug is designed for bathroom use and shuts off in response to a short or water contact. Follow the user manual’s placement and use instructions, particularly in wet areas.

The thermostat adjusts from 41°F to 95°F in 1°F increments, so you can select a target temperature rather than rely on a simple on/off setting. Set the timer from 1 to 12 hours when you want the heater to run for a defined period. The washable, detachable filter can be removed for cleaning, helping keep dust and lint from accumulating at the air inlet.

Strengths

The combination of thermostat control, multiple operating modes, and oscillation offers more flexibility than a basic heater with only an on/off control. Eco mode adjusts the heating level to maintain the selected comfort setting, while fan-only mode provides air circulation without selecting a heat level. The 70-degree sweep helps distribute warmth beyond one fixed direction.

For shared routines, the remote makes changes convenient from across the room, and the compact cabinet form with a built-in handle supports moving the heater where indoor warmth is needed. Its stated noise level is 36.5 dB, a useful detail for spaces where a quieter heater is preferred. Buyers also frequently praise its warmth, compact size, and quiet operation, making these practical qualities central to its appeal.

Is it worth it?

This DREO model makes sense for someone seeking a compact indoor heater with more control than a simple portable unit. Its adjustable thermostat and timer help tailor operation to a room and routine, while the remote, oscillation, and several modes add everyday convenience. The ALCI plug is a distinguishing feature for bathroom use, its protections work alongside careful placement and the directions in the manual. For targeted warmth in a bathroom, bedroom, or home office, it brings useful temperature control and flexible operation into a small portable design.
