DREO DR-HPF021 Black Pedestal Fan, 3D Oscillation, 9 Speeds, Remote

What matters most

At 10.6 inches deep and 10.6 inches wide, the DREO DR-HPF021 Black is a freestanding pedestal fan for indoor rooms. Its height adjusts from 37 to 42 inches, and its head oscillates 120° horizontally and 100° vertically. That wide, two-axis movement helps distribute airflow across more of a room than a fan aimed in one fixed direction.

The DC motor and three-blade design deliver airflow rated at up to 1,150 CFM, with a reach of up to 96 feet. Choose among nine speeds and three modes to tailor the breeze to work, rest, or general air circulation. The fan is rated at 20 dB, and its eight-hour timer lets you schedule operation for a set period. Buyers also frequently praise its quiet operation, airflow, and horizontal and vertical oscillation.

Fit and sizing

The adjustable stand makes it easier to position airflow near a bed, sofa, or desk, while the freestanding floor design suits bedrooms, dorm rooms, dining rooms, attics, and garages. The listed overall dimensions are 10.6 inches deep by 10.6 inches wide by 41.6 inches high. Its black finish gives it a straightforward look for everyday indoor spaces.

If you are choosing between a fan that points in one direction and one designed to move air across a wider area, the DREO’s horizontal and vertical oscillation is the key distinction. It can direct airflow across the room and up or down without needing to keep the fan aimed at just one spot. The package includes a remote, two AAA batteries, a quick start guide, and a user manual, so you can control it from nearby or across the room.

Usage tips

Use the touch controls or remote to select one of the nine speeds and three modes. Auto Mode adjusts airflow according to room temperature, lowering the speed by one level for every 2°F drop. That makes it useful when you want the fan to respond to changing room conditions rather than leave it at one manually selected speed. The timer can be set for up to eight hours, a practical choice for a planned period of use.

For a bedroom or workspace, start with the adjustable height and oscillation to direct air around the area where you spend time. For broader circulation, allow the fan to sweep horizontally and vertically. The unit is corded electric and intended for indoor use, its safe operating voltage is 120V, so use it only with a power grid at or below that voltage. The fan can be disassembled for cleaning, which helps with routine upkeep.

Should you buy it?

The DREO DR-HPF021 Black is a useful choice for shoppers who want more than a steady, single-direction breeze. Its adjustable pedestal, 120° horizontal and 100° vertical oscillation, nine speeds, and remote control support flexible placement and everyday room circulation. A bedroom, desk area, or shared living space can benefit from being able to adjust both the fan’s height and the direction of airflow. Choose it for adaptable indoor air movement with quiet operation, broad oscillation, and controls that make it easy to tailor the breeze to the moment.
