DORESshop DWS001RW40E26-4-2700K/ST19-5 T45 Incandescent Bulbs, 40W Amber Glass

For a pendant, wall sconce, or decorative fixture where the bulb is part of the look, these DORESshop T45 incandescent bulbs provide amber glass and a warm-white glow. The four-pack is rated at 40 watts and 240 lumens per bulb, with a dimmable design for adjusting the light when the fixture is connected to a compatible dimmer.

Their appeal is as much decorative as functional: the exposed filament-style appearance suits vintage-inspired spaces, while the relatively modest listed output is better matched to accent lighting than to lighting a whole room.

Usage tips

Match the bulb’s E26 base and voltage rating to the fixture before installing it. The product name lists 110–130 volts, and the specifications give 110 volts, check the requirements of your fixture rather than assuming compatibility from the base alone. These bulbs are listed for indoor use. They are dimmable, but brightness adjustment depends on using a compatible dimmer.

A practical setup is a pair of bulbs in a decorative fixture over a dining area or in a reading-free entryway, where a warm, amber-toned glow can contribute to the atmosphere without being the room’s only source of light. At 240 lumens, each bulb is not a high-output choice for tasks that need bright, even illumination.

Where it shines

The amber glass and vintage-inspired T45 shape make these bulbs a natural fit for fixtures where the bulb remains visible. They can add a softer, warmer look to a dining nook, hallway, or decorative lamp. Compared with a standard bulb chosen mainly for broad, bright room lighting, this set puts more emphasis on appearance and mood, its listed 240-lumen output helps define that tradeoff.

Buyer feedback often praises the golden color and cozy look, while opinions on brightness are mixed. Some find the illumination suitable for their fixtures, others consider it too dim. Reports also differ on reliability and lifespan, and some buyers mention that the bulbs get hot. Those comments are worth weighing if you need dependable primary lighting or plan to leave a bulb on for long periods.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a visible vintage-style incandescent bulb, prefer warm amber light, and have a compatible E26 fixture with a suitable dimmer. The four-pack also makes sense when several matching decorative bulbs are needed. Not the best choice if the priority is strong general-purpose illumination: the stated output is 240 lumens per bulb, so a brighter bulb or a separate room-lighting source may suit that job better.
