DOOOB HM10020 Cat Fountain Filters, 48-Pack with Carbon Filters and Sponges

For households maintaining a DOOOB cat water fountain, replacement filters help keep the fountain’s water-care routine supplied. This set pairs carbon filters with sponges for the fountain’s filtration system.

The carbon filter uses a cotton layer, activated carbon, and ion-exchange resin to help reduce odors, soften water, and improve taste. A separate sponge catches pet hair, dirt, and food particles.

Choose this set when you need replacement filters specifically for a DOOOB fountain. If you only need a different kind of fountain accessory, this filter-and-sponge pack serves a more focused purpose.

The components support different parts of the filtration process: the carbon filter is designed to help address odor and water taste, while the sponge traps visible particles such as fur and food debris. Together, they provide replacement elements for routine fountain maintenance. The set is intended for the DOOOB cat water fountain, so it’s a practical choice when matching the filter to that specific fountain is the priority.

Usage tips

Before installing a carbon filter, soak it in a separate bowl for 5 minutes, then rinse it for 30 seconds. This preparation helps remove loose carbon dust before the filter goes into the fountain. The carbon dust is described as harmless to pets, but rinsing is part of the recommended setup.

Replace the carbon filter and sponge every 1–2 weeks, adjusting the schedule for how often your pet drinks and how many pets use the fountain. Clean the fountain pump as part of the same maintenance routine. Keeping the filters and pump in the care cycle helps you address both the water-contact filtration components and the fountain’s circulation hardware.

What you get

The 48-piece pack contains 24 carbon filters and 24 sponges. Having both replacement components together is useful for planned maintenance: you can refresh the filter and particle-trapping sponge as recommended, rather than buying a pack that serves only one of those roles. The count also makes this a multi-change supply for ongoing fountain care.

Buying verdict

This set is suited to cat owners who use a DOOOB fountain and want its replacement filters and sponges in one pack. Its three-layer carbon filter targets odor, water softness, and taste, while the sponge catches hair, dirt, and food particles. If you’re stocking up for routine changes, the 24 filters and 24 sponges give you both components for that maintenance schedule.
