DODAER Detachable Pet Dog Clipper Blades, 7FW Wide Blade, 1/8-Inch Cut
Product description
Why it makes sense
The 7FW wide blade has a broad cutting area designed for trimming larger pets, so it covers more coat than a standard A5 blade. Need a defined cutting length for a grooming session? This blade cuts to 1/8 inch (3.2 mm), giving you a specific length to work with. It is made from 440C stainless steel, and the manufacturer describes it as resistant to rust from water and quieter in use than traditional carbon-steel blades.
The blade is compatible with Andis and Oster A5, Wahl KM10, and most detachable A5-type clippers. Buyer feedback is mixed: some report sharp blades, clean cuts, and a good fit, while others describe inconsistent sharpness or fit and concerns about durability. Compatibility with the clipper model is an important part of choosing the right replacement blade.
Key features
The 7FW designation identifies this wide-blade option, with a 1/8-inch (3.2 mm) cutting length. Its wider format is intended for larger pets and, compared with A5 blades, is designed to improve work efficiency by covering a larger area. That makes it a practical replacement to consider when you want a wider blade format rather than a conventional-width blade.
The 440C stainless-steel comb blade combines a stated material specification with a practical grooming use. One blade is included. Note that this wide blade is not compatible with conventional A5 guard combs, even though it fits the listed detachable clipper types.
Best use cases
This blade is suited to grooming larger pets with a compatible detachable clipper when a 1/8-inch cut is the intended length. For example, during a trim across a broad section of coat, the wide cutting area can help cover more surface than a standard A5 blade. It is also an option for replacing an existing detachable blade while keeping the same stated cut length.
Worth considering if your grooming setup uses one of the compatible clipper series and you want a wide blade with a clearly defined cutting length. A standard-width blade may suit a different grooming approach, the 7FW is specifically presented for broad-area trimming.

Which clippers is the 7FW blade compatible with? It is listed for Andis and Oster A5, Wahl KM10, and most detachable A5-type dog clippers.

Can I use it with a conventional A5 guard comb? No. The wide blade is not compatible with conventional A5 guard combs.
Is it worth it?
The DODAER 7FW is a focused replacement choice for pet owners and groomers who need a wide-format blade for a compatible detachable clipper. Its 1/8-inch cut, broad blade area, and 440C stainless-steel construction make it especially relevant for larger-pet grooming where that length suits the trim. Match the blade to your clipper series and intended cutting length to choose the right fit for your grooming routine.
