AngFan AngFan-Pet-Clippers-535 Dog Clippers for Thick Coats, Cordless 5-Speed

The kit pairs five color-coded, metal-reinforced guide combs with a cordless clipper, giving you several guard lengths for at-home dog grooming. The combs range from 3–15mm to help tailor the cut to your preferred coat length.

For thick or double coats, the five-speed motor adjusts from 5,800 to 7,200 RPM. This gives you a choice of settings when working through different areas of a dog’s coat.

The set also includes two interchangeable blades, a rechargeable battery, and an LED display for speed and remaining battery information. Choose a simple setup for occasional trims, or a kit with multiple guard lengths and speed settings for more involved grooming, this one is built around the latter.

Quick overview

AngFan’s cordless clippers are designed for thick coats, including matted hair and double coats. Their five adjustable speeds provide flexibility during a grooming session, while the curved, ergonomic body is shaped to reduce wrist fatigue during handling. The motor operates below 55dB, a low-noise design intended to help keep grooming calmer for pets.

The blades combine high-carbon steel with heat-resistant ceramic. The set includes two interchangeable 5-in-1-shaped blades in 1.0mm and 1.5mm lengths, so you can choose between those cutting options for the trim. For longer coat lengths, the five guide combs add guard choices from 3–15mm. Together, the blades and combs give you a practical range of ways to approach routine coat care at home.

How it fits

Use the included guide combs when you want a longer, more even trim, selecting from the five color-coded options in the 3–15mm range. For a closer cut, the two interchangeable blades provide 1.0mm and 1.5mm options. The color coding helps distinguish the combs as you work, while their metal reinforcement supports a stable glide through thicker fur.

The adjustable motor spans five speeds from 5,800 to 7,200 RPM. That range is useful when grooming different parts of a coat or choosing a pace that feels manageable for the task. As with any coat trim, select the guard or blade length that matches the finish you want before beginning.

Everyday use

For a home grooming session with a large dog or a breed with a dense coat, the cordless design lets you move around the pet without managing a power cord. The LED display shows the selected speed and remaining battery, helping you keep track as you work. The 2,500mAh battery is rated for up to 4.5 hours of continuous grooming on a 3-hour charge, giving you time for extended sessions between charges.

Buyers describe the clippers as effective on coarse and thick curly dog hair, and some highlight the low noise during use. Those impressions are consistent with the product’s focus on thick coats and quieter operation, while individual grooming experiences can vary. The ergonomic curve is another practical detail for anyone handling a longer trim at home or providing grooming services.

Is it worth it?

This kit makes sense when your grooming routine calls for more than a single fixed blade: it brings five guard lengths, two blade options, adjustable speed, and cordless operation together in one set. That combination is especially relevant for maintaining thick, double, or curly coats, where having a choice of cutting lengths can help you shape the trim to the task.

For occasional touch-ups on a short coat, a simpler clipper may cover the basics. If you want a more adjustable setup for dense fur and longer grooming sessions, AngFan’s multiple speed settings, metal-reinforced combs, and battery display offer useful control in a single cordless kit.
