Disguise Blue Rainbow Friends Costume for Kids, Size 7-8, Jumpsuit and Mask

The oversized blue jumpsuit gives this Rainbow Friends costume its recognizable character shape, making it easy to build a themed Halloween or cosplay outfit around one piece.

It comes with attached mittens and a character mask, so the main parts of Blue’s look are included. The listing identifies the costume material as 100% polyester.

The child size is listed as 7-8. That makes the size label a useful starting point, though buyer feedback on fit is mixed, the mask’s visibility is also worth considering for activities where a child needs to see clearly.

Quick overview

This officially licensed Disguise costume is centered on Rainbow Friends’ Blue. Its jumpsuit, attached mittens, and included mask create a more character-specific look than a basic blue outfit assembled from everyday clothes. The jumpsuit is described as soft and oversized, while openings in the attached mittens let the wearer get their hands in and out.

That combination is suited to Halloween, dress-up, or cosplay when the character’s look matters. For a child who mainly needs a comfortable blue outfit for active play, a simpler costume without a face covering may be a more practical approach. The half mask adds character detail, but buyers report that seeing through it can be difficult.

Fit and sizing

The listed size is Child Size 7-8. The product details do not provide measurements, so the size label is the available fit guidance rather than a guarantee of how the jumpsuit will sit on a particular child. Buyers have differing views on sizing accuracy, which makes it sensible to compare the label with the child’s usual costume size before choosing.

The loose, oversized shape is part of the Blue character look, not a close-fitting cut. If a snug fit is important, or the child is between sizes, the listing does not provide enough detail to predict the result. It may not suit you if unrestricted visibility is a priority while trick-or-treating or moving around, the mask has been a concern for some buyers.

Everyday use

For a Halloween event, the jumpsuit and mask provide a coordinated character outfit without needing to create Blue’s look from separate clothing pieces. The attached mittens keep the hands visually integrated with the costume, while their openings allow hands to be taken out. The same pieces can also work for pretend play or a Rainbow Friends cosplay occasion.

Buyers often describe the costume as cute and some speak positively about its overall quality, but comments on material quality are not uniformly favorable. Some criticize the mask material, and visibility concerns appear in feedback as well. Those are practical considerations for a child who will wear the mask for extended periods, the product details do not specify a visibility design or mask material.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if the goal is a recognizable Blue costume with the jumpsuit, attached mittens, and mask bundled into one character look. It is less compelling for a family prioritizing a clear view of the surroundings over character accuracy, since the mask has drawn visibility complaints. For that use, a costume that leaves the face uncovered may be a better fit.

The choice comes down to how the outfit will be worn: the included mask supports a more complete Rainbow Friends appearance for a costume event, while a simpler outfit may be easier to use for active play. With mixed feedback on fit and mask visibility, treat the listed child size as a guide and consider whether the wearer is comfortable using a face covering before settling on this version.
