Rubies Karate Kid Costume for Kids

Kids looking for a Karate Kid look for Halloween or a themed party get a coordinated costume with a top, pants, headband, and belt.

The officially licensed Miyagi-do details help signal the character, with a printed back logo and patches.

The listed size is Boys Large (10/12). Rubies notes that costumes run smaller than regular apparel, so the size chart matters.

Key specifications

This is a licensed Karate Kid costume, not an everyday martial arts uniform. The listed details include a printed logo on the back and printed patches, the description does not identify a fabric or provide garment measurements. Without that measurement, the size label alone may not tell you how the costume will sit on a particular child.

For fit, use the product’s size chart rather than assuming a child’s usual clothing size will transfer directly. The listed size is Boys Large (10/12), and the costume sizing note is a meaningful buying detail. There is no care information in the supplied description, either, so fabric feel and cleaning requirements are unknown.

Who it’s for

It suits you if the goal is a recognizable character costume for a child’s Halloween night, costume event, or themed party, and you want the headband and belt included rather than sourcing those pieces separately. For example, the child can put on the top and pants, then add the headband and belt to complete the look before heading to a party.

Compared with a plain martial-arts outfit, this version puts the licensed character branding first. That makes it more appropriate for dress-up than for someone specifically shopping for an everyday training uniform. You may want to skip it if you need detailed garment measurements, fabric information, or a fit that can be judged from more than the size chart.

In the box

The listed contents are a top, pants, headband, and belt. The description also mentions a printed logo on the back and printed patches. It does not specify additional accessories, footwear, or a protective gear component, so don’t count on those being part of the set.

Before you decide

Is this officially licensed? Yes. The listing identifies it as an officially licensed Karate Kid Miyagi-do costume.

What printed details are mentioned? A logo on the back and patches. The description does not give further detail about their placement or design.

How should you choose a size? The listed option is Boys Large (10/12), and the seller notes that costumes run smaller than apparel. Refer to the product’s size chart when choosing rather than relying only on a usual clothing size.

Buying verdict

Choose this Rubies costume when the licensed Karate Kid look and included headband and belt matter more than fabric details or uniform-style use. The set covers the main listed costume pieces for dress-up, but the sizing note deserves attention: check the chart before ordering, especially if a close fit is important. If you need a costume with stated garment measurements or material information to make the decision, this listing doesn’t provide those details.
