DISEN Folding Allen Key Set, 25-Piece

What to know

A single missing hex or Torx size can interrupt a quick repair. This DISEN folding Allen key set groups SAE, metric, and Torx keys in compact handles, so you have several common fastener types together for household jobs and DIY projects.

The 25 keys cover SAE sizes from 5/64 to 1/4, metric sizes from 1.5mm to 8mm, and Torx sizes from T9 to T40. Each key is stamped with its size, which helps when you’re sorting through them for the right fit.

The keys are listed as heat-treated CR-V 6150 steel with a black oxide finish, the folding handles use soft rubber and ABS and include a keyhook. Keep in mind that a folding set is a compact, all-in-one approach, not a collection of separate long-reach keys for every awkward angle.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at small repairs where the fastener type may vary: tightening a loose household-appliance screw, handling a DIY assembly, or keeping a hex and Torx selection nearby for auto-related work. For example, if a screw loosens while you’re working on an appliance, the stamped sizes make it easier to pick a matching key without emptying a mixed tool bag.

The folding format also keeps the keys grouped in a handle, with a keyhook for carrying or storage. It makes sense if you want several SAE, metric, and Torx sizes in one portable tool. If a job calls for reaching deep into a confined space or applying leverage with a long individual key, a dedicated wrench may be a better fit.

Tips for day-to-day use

Match the stamped size to the fastener before turning it, a key that looks close can still be the wrong fit. Fold the keys back into the handle after use, and keep the set in a tool bag or on its keyhook so the different sizes stay together. The listed range is useful to check against the fasteners you encounter most often, especially if your projects mostly use one system rather than a mix of SAE, metric, and Torx.

The maker describes the steel as heat treated to HRC 53–60 and says the keys are tested for hardness and durability. That gives some material context, but the listing doesn’t provide key lengths or handle dimensions. If reach or clearance is central to your repair, those details aren’t available here to compare with a standalone-key set.

Questions before you buy

Does the set include both hex and Torx keys? Yes. The listed 25 pieces cover SAE and metric hex sizes, plus Torx sizes from T9 to T40.

Can you tell the keys apart easily? Each key is stamped with its size, according to the product details.

What are the keys and handles made of? The keys are listed as heat-treated CR-V 6150 steel with a black oxide finish, the handles are soft rubber and ABS.

Is it worth it?

This set’s main appeal is having three size systems in one foldable format rather than buying or carrying separate loose keys. Not the best choice if your work depends on a particular key length, extra reach, or a size that isn’t listed. If the included range matches your common household, DIY, or auto-repair tasks and portability matters more than a specialized long key, the layout is practical, check the size list against your fasteners before choosing.
