DIKAVEY RC Buggy 1/24 Scale
Product description
Quick overview
The full-time 4WD setup is the main draw of this compact RC buggy: it’s designed to keep power going to all four wheels across asphalt, pavement, and light gravel. At 1/24 scale, it measures 200 × 115 × 66 mm and weighs 240 g, so it’s a small vehicle for backyard runs and other limited-space driving—not a full-size off-road rig.

It arrives assembled with a 2S 500mAh Li-Po battery, charger, transmitter, and manual. The listed top speed is 26+ km/h, and the stated runtime per charge is approximately 15–50 minutes.

How to use it

Charge the included battery with the dedicated charger, then use the 2.4GHz, 4-channel transmitter to steer and drive. The controls are described as straightforward for beginners, and the radio system is intended to let multiple cars run at the same time without signal crosstalk. You’ll need to supply AA batteries for the transmitter, they aren’t included.
Keep in mind that this buggy is not waterproof, so wet ground and mud are off the table. Its 11 mm ground clearance and 38 mm tires suit pavement and light gravel better than rough, deeply rutted terrain. The independent front and rear suspension has oil-adjustable shocks, while the oil-damped metal differential and steel CVD shafts form part of the drivetrain.

Practical tips
A paved driveway or a small, dry patch of gravel is a sensible place to start. You can practice steering in a clear area, then try gentle turns and small bumps as you get used to the controls. The body shell is made from 1 mm pre-painted PC, and the 1.2 mm 6061-T6 aluminum chassis has a double-layer support frame, but those details shouldn’t be read as permission to drive it into hard obstacles.

For a particular jump or obstacle, its height matters, without that measurement, the 11 mm clearance alone can’t tell you whether the buggy will clear it. The stated runtime also spans a wide range, so plan around the lower end if you need a predictable session. It makes sense if you want a ready-to-run 4WD car for casual, dry-surface driving, a larger vehicle may be a better fit for rougher ground or more demanding runs.

Practical doubts

Does it need assembly? It’s supplied fully pre-assembled and described as ready to run. Charge the battery and add AA batteries to the transmitter before driving.
How long does the battery last? The stated runtime is approximately 15–50 minutes per charge, with a charging time of about one hour.

Can it drive in rain or mud? No. The product is not waterproof, and wet or muddy environments should be avoided.
Is it worth it?
This DIKAVEY is aimed at buyers who want a small, assembled 4WD buggy with its own battery and charger, rather than a build-it-yourself kit or a larger model for demanding off-road use. The included setup reduces what you need to get started, although the transmitter still requires AA batteries. You may want to skip it if you need waterproofing, more clearance, or a vehicle for challenging terrain. For casual runs on a dry driveway or light gravel, its compact size and included 2S battery make the package easier to pick up and use.
