NKOK 685 Sonic Glow Racer 1:28 Scale RC Car with Light-Up Panels
Product description
At 1:28 scale, the NKOK Sonic Glow Racer brings character-themed driving into a compact 6.5-inch car. Flowing light-up body panels and working lights make the car stand out in motion, and the lower lights can be switched off for a different look. Its 2.4GHz remote control supports racing with up to 16 vehicles, so play can include head-to-head runs as well as solo driving.
Practical tips
Use the car on a smooth surface for turns, spins, and donut-style driving. Its compact size makes it easy for kids to pick up, carry, and store between races, while the included batteries let play get started without a separate battery purchase. For a shared race, the 2.4GHz control system is designed to let up to 16 vehicles run at the same time without signal crossover. The car is intended for indoor and outdoor play, making it suitable for a quick race on a clear floor or a smooth outdoor area.
The light-up body panels create a flowing glow as Sonic moves. Switch off the lights underneath when you want to focus on the sculpted character details and painted colors instead. For a child who wants a straightforward remote-control car with a recognizable video game character, this combines visual appeal and driving action in one ready-to-run toy.

Where it shines
This car is built around lively, character-led play rather than a large hobby vehicle setup. Fast turns, spins, and donut action give kids simple ways to vary each run, while its small footprint is handy for everyday play and storage. A 150-foot control range supports driving farther across an open play area, and the ability to race up to 16 vehicles makes it a natural choice for playdates or family races with compatible cars.
Buyers describe the car as fun to use and like its appearance. Feedback on reliability, battery life, and value is mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than guaranteed outcomes. Its clearest appeal is the combination of Sonic character styling, illuminated panels, and ready-to-run RC play.
What to clarify
Can the lights be turned off? Yes. The lower lights can be switched off, giving the car a more classic driving look while retaining its character design.
Can several cars race together? The 2.4GHz system supports up to 16 vehicles racing at the same time, without signal crossover.
What kind of surface suits driving tricks? Smooth surfaces are recommended for quick turns, spins, and donut-style action.
