DEXDE ST001 Stair Treads, 14-Piece Gray Bullnose Carpet, 30" x 9.5

The bullnose edge wraps over the front of each step, adding a soft carpeted surface while helping shield stair corners from everyday scuffs. DEXDE ST001 stair treads come in a 14-piece set, with a gray rectangular design sized 30" x 9.5" for indoor stairs.

Their peel-and-stick backing makes it possible to place a tread on each step without separate tape, glue, or staples. The soft polypropylene surface is washable and reusable, bringing a more comfortable feel to hard stair surfaces.

Highlights

Each tread combines a tufted carpet surface with a non-slip backing, so the steps have a softer place to land and added traction underfoot. The bullnose edge extends over the stair corner, a useful detail for protecting the area that receives regular foot traffic. It can also help buffer the stair finish from everyday contact, including scratches from pets’ claws.

The set includes 14 treads, each measuring 30" long by 9.5" wide. Their gray color and diamond-patterned surface give the stairs a defined, coordinated look. Compared with a single runner that spans the staircase, these individual treads cover steps one at a time, offering a separate rug surface on each stair.

How it fits

These treads are designed for indoor steps and can adhere to hard, smooth surfaces such as wood, marble, and brick. For installation, clean the step, peel away the backing film, position the tread over the stair, and press it firmly into place. The bullnose section goes over the front edge, where it helps cover the corner as well as the tread surface.

The backing is intended to keep each piece in place without additional fasteners. Buyer comments on the appearance are positive, while feedback about adhesion is mixed: some shoppers report that the treads stay put, and others say the adhesion could be better. Preparing a smooth surface before installation helps follow the recommended setup process.

Everyday use

On a busy household staircase, the carpeted surface adds a softer feel for everyday trips between floors. The textured backing and carpet provide grip and cushioning, while the material can help soften footstep noise. The bullnose edge also covers the stair front, helping keep this frequently contacted area protected from ordinary wear.

For routine upkeep, vacuum the treads or hand-wash them in cold water with mild detergent. Let them dry before reattaching them. This washable, reusable design makes them practical for stairs that need regular cleaning without giving up a carpeted surface.

When it makes sense

DEXDE ST001 is a useful fit for indoor staircases where you want separate carpeted surfaces on the steps, rather than one continuous runner. Its 14-piece format, gray diamond pattern, and bullnose coverage bring together a consistent look and practical step-by-step protection. A solid pick if a softer stair surface, washable upkeep, and coverage over the front edge are priorities for your home.
