DAREU EK60 HE-BK 60% Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard, 8000Hz RGB

Hall Effect magnetic switches and adjustable Rapid Trigger let you tailor key response for quick inputs and precise reset behavior. The DAREU EK60 HE-BK pairs those controls with a compact 60% layout for a focused gaming setup.

Its 8000Hz polling rate and 0.01mm Rapid Trigger step are designed for fast-paced play, while adjustable actuation from 0.2–3.5mm gives you room to set a preferred feel. Need more space for mouse movement? The 61-key layout uses FN combinations to access commands in a smaller footprint.

Connect it by USB-C for a wired setup, then customize keys and lighting through the browser-based or desktop driver. The web driver is the supported option for macOS.

What stands out

Rapid Trigger sensitivity and press/reset behavior can be adjusted to suit different games and typing preferences. Hall Effect magnetic switches use a linear switch type, and the hot-swappable design supports switch replacement. For games that benefit from custom inputs, the driver also supports remapping, macros, and advanced DKS, MT, TGL, and SOCD functions.

RGB backlighting offers 16.8 million customizable colors, 27 preset effects, and a music-sync mode. That makes it easy to coordinate the keyboard’s lighting with a setup or choose a visual effect that fits the moment. Buyers also praise the software and responsiveness, some mention the switches’ sound and lubrication, with one describing them as quieter than regular mechanical switches.

Key takeaways

The compact 60% format measures 11.73 × 3.93 × 1.37 inches, leaving more desk room than a full-size keyboard for broad mouse movement or a streamlined laptop setup. Its wired connection and 8000Hz polling rate suit players who want a direct connection and rapid input reporting. The keyboard is compatible with Windows, and the browser driver provides macOS support for configuration.

Rather than choosing a larger layout with more dedicated keys, this model uses FN combinations to reach commands while keeping the board compact. Its QWERTY layout and 61 keys provide a familiar starting point for gaming, programming, or everyday use.
