DailyCuddles 8 x 30 in. Stair Treads, 15-Pack, Khaki, Self-Adhesive

Where it shines

For households looking to add a softer, more secure-feeling surface to indoor stairs, these individual stair treads combine a PET top with a self-adhesive TPE backing. The khaki color brings a neutral accent to wood steps, while the rectangular 8 x 30 in. format covers each step with a separate strip. A 15-piece set lets you arrange treads across a staircase rather than relying on a single continuous runner.

The backing is designed to adhere to smooth surfaces, including wood, marble, and tile. Installation is straightforward: clean the step, peel away the backing, and press the tread into place. Each strip can also be trimmed to fit a particular stair, which is useful when step dimensions or layout call for a custom fit. The soft surface adds a comfortable place for feet and paws, and helps protect stair surfaces from scratches while reducing footstep noise.

Highlights

The grippy backing and carpeted top provide traction underfoot while keeping the setup simple, with no separate glue required. Used one step at a time, the strips are a practical alternative to a continuous stair runner: they can be positioned and trimmed individually, so coverage can follow the shape of the staircase. The low-profile 0.2 in. thickness keeps the tread surface close to the step rather than adding a bulky layer.

Buyers commonly praise how easy the treads are to apply and how well they stay in place after installation. They also mention the appearance and color, and find the surface easy to vacuum. These are customer impressions, while the product’s neutral khaki finish and self-adhesive format make it straightforward to coordinate with a room and install on prepared steps.

Cleaning & care

For everyday upkeep, vacuum the treads or shake off loose debris. When they need a deeper clean, the PET treads are machine washable, making routine care more convenient than treating the staircase as one large carpeted surface. The individual format also lets you handle each strip separately during cleaning. Follow the step-by-step installation method by cleaning the stair surface before applying each tread, then press it firmly into place.

Is it worth it?

This set is a useful choice for homes that want stair coverage with a soft surface, a self-adhesive backing, and the flexibility to fit strips to individual steps. The 15 khaki treads offer a coordinated look across indoor stairs, while the washable construction and easy vacuuming support regular household care. For wood, marble, or tile stairs with smooth surfaces, they bring together practical traction, surface protection, and an individual-strip layout that can be tailored to the staircase.
