CRKD ATOM+ 26-ATP-SMBK-014 Mini Wireless Controller with TMR Sticks

A travel controller needs to stay compact, a useful everyday gamepad still needs the controls your games rely on. The CRKD ATOM+ brings both together in a pocket-sized wireless design, with dual analog sticks, bumpers, digital triggers, and a full face-button layout.

At 90mm x 48mm, the Smoke Black ATOM+ is easy to carry for gaming away from home or to keep nearby for a quick session. Bluetooth support connects it to Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, PC, iOS and Android devices, and Smart TVs. USB-C charging powers its built-in rechargeable battery, and there’s no dongle needed for Bluetooth pairing.

Everyday use

Use the ATOM+ for portable play on a handheld console or phone, or pair it with a PC or Smart TV for gaming in another room. Its compact size makes it convenient to pack in a bag, while the familiar layout—with two analog sticks, bumpers, digital triggers, and face buttons—supports games that need more than a few basic controls. It has 12 buttons, plus motion sensing and vibration feedback for games that support those features.

The TMR thumbsticks use zero-contact magnetic sensing. That design avoids physical contact within the stick mechanism and is intended to provide precise, linear input without the wear associated with contact-based sensing. For players who use the analog sticks frequently, this is a notable part of the ATOM+’s design, not just a smaller form factor.

Benefits

Bluetooth compatibility across consoles, computers, mobile devices, tablets, and Smart TVs gives the controller flexibility when your gaming setup changes. Pair it with a compatible device for wireless play, then use the same pocketable format when you head out. The built-in rechargeable battery charges through USB-C, keeping charging simple with a commonly used cable type.

The CRKD Companion App adds customization options: remap buttons, adjust settings, update firmware, and register the controller in the True Collection System. An included wrist strap can help secure the controller during play or attach it to a keychain, bag, or backpack. It makes sense if you want one small gamepad for several supported platforms rather than a controller dedicated to a single setup.

Worth noting

The ATOM+ is designed to retain a full controller layout in a small body, so its appeal is practical portability rather than a larger, desk-focused grip. Buyers highlight its compact size and ease of carrying, and also praise its Switch 2 functionality and responsive buttons. Those impressions align with its pocket-sized design and full set of gaming controls, while remaining individual customer opinions rather than performance guarantees.

Practical questions

Which devices can it connect to? It supports Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, PC, PC handhelds, iOS and Android devices, tablets, and Smart TVs. Connection is wireless over Bluetooth, with no dongle needed.

How does it charge? The controller has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges via USB-C.

Can the controls be customized? Yes. The CRKD Companion App supports button remapping, settings adjustments, and firmware updates.

Final verdict

The CRKD ATOM+ is a practical fit for players who want a highly portable controller without giving up dual analog sticks, triggers, bumpers, motion controls, and vibration feedback. Its multi-platform Bluetooth support, rechargeable USB-C power, and app-based customization make it especially useful for gaming across devices or taking a capable gamepad on the go.
