Cricut Permanent Vinyl, 9.5 x 24 in

If you only need a few short decals, a smaller piece of vinyl may be enough. This Cricut sampler is aimed at projects where having several colors and the option for a longer cut is useful.

Each sheet measures 9.5 x 24 inches, so you can plan a design across the sheet rather than working only with small scraps.

The pack is identified for the Cricut Joy Xtra. It also avoids the need for a machine mat, which means one less item to set up for a cut.

Technical details

The sampler contains six sheets in White, Black, Red, Ocean, Maize Yellow, and Grass. Each is 9.5 x 24 inches and has a matte finish. That gives you a handful of colors for lettering or simple decorative designs, though it is not a broad assortment if you need a very specific shade.

The vinyl is described as weather- and fade-resistant. That may suit designs where exposure to the elements or fading is a concern, but the product details do not specify particular surfaces, application steps, or how long a finished design will last. Cuts can run continuously up to 4 feet (1.2 m) in one go, which is useful when a design needs to extend beyond a short label.

Compatibility

The product name identifies this vinyl for the Cricut Joy Xtra. The listing also says that no machine mat is needed. It does not provide compatibility details for other machines, so don’t assume the same fit or setup beyond the named machine.

For a practical project, you could cut a longer name or a simple border for a storage container, using one of the six colors. A mat-free setup can keep that job straightforward, just keep the stated 4-foot continuous-cut limit in mind when planning the design.

Usage tips

Before cutting, choose a color that stands apart from the intended background and make sure the design fits the 9.5-inch sheet width. For a long line of text or a border, plan the layout around the available continuous cut length rather than treating the six sheets as one larger piece.

The matte finish gives the material a non-glossy look, which may work better for projects where you want to avoid a shiny appearance. It makes sense if you want several color choices in one pack and are making projects with the Joy Xtra. It might not be a great match if you need a wider color selection or need confirmed compatibility with a machine other than the one named.

Before you decide

Which colors are included? White, Black, Red, Ocean, Maize Yellow, and Grass.

Does the vinyl have a glossy finish? No. The listed finish is matte.

Can it handle a long continuous cut? The product details state that cuts can run up to 4 feet (1.2 m) in one go.

Should you buy it?

Choose this pack if the Joy Xtra is your machine, a mat-free cut matters to your workflow, and six 9.5 x 24-inch sheets cover the colors and project sizes you have in mind. The longer-cut capacity and weather- and fade-resistant description add flexibility beyond short indoor labels. Skip it if the limited color set does not suit your design, or if you need confirmed machine compatibility that the listing does not provide. The key trade-off is clear: this is a defined sampler for Joy Xtra projects, not a large or broadly specified vinyl assortment.
