Cricut Permanent Vinyl, 12 x 12-Inch Sheets

Key specifications

Small decorating projects can stall when you need several colors but only have one large roll on hand. The Cricut Value Permanent Vinyl Rainbow Sampler offers a range of colors in square sheets, making it easier to tackle labels, decals, and other projects without committing to a single shade. Each sheet is listed as 12 in x 12 in, with a matte finish. One detail deserves attention before choosing: the package says it includes 50 sheets, but the quantities listed for individual colors add up to 48.

The product description also calls out strong adhesion, durability, and dishwasher-safe use. Those claims make it relevant for projects that need more than a temporary decoration, though the listing does not explain care conditions or how long a finished item will last in a particular setting.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you make a mix of small DIY projects and want colors on hand for labels, wall or window decoration, mailbox personalization, or car decals. For example, a sheet can give you room to lay out a few labels for organizing containers, while the sampler lets you choose different colors for later projects instead of buying only one shade at a time.

This format is also useful when you want to try a color before building a larger project around it. A single-color roll may make more sense if you already know exactly which shade you need and expect to use a lot of it. Not the best choice if your project needs a confirmed sheet count or exact color allocation: the stated total and the color-by-color breakdown do not match.

What you get

The listing describes 19 colors in a matte finish, including neutrals and brighter shades such as pink, red, teal, blue, and gold. It lists 12 in x 12 in sheets and identifies the sampler as permanent vinyl. However, the color quantities shown total 48 sheets rather than the stated 50. That discrepancy makes the exact contents less clear than the headline suggests, so treat the detailed breakdown as something to verify if the count matters for your project.

The vinyl is described as suitable for DIY crafting, labels, decals, walls, windows, cars, and mailboxes. Dishwasher-safe use is also stated, but no application instructions or limits are provided here. If a project has a specific surface or care requirement, factor that missing detail into your choice rather than assuming every use will behave the same way.

Questions before you buy

What size are the sheets? Each sheet is listed as 12 in x 12 in.

Is the finish glossy? No. The product description identifies it as matte.

Can finished projects go in the dishwasher? The listing says the vinyl is dishwasher safe. It does not specify care conditions, so that claim may not answer every project-specific question.

Should you buy it?

Choose this sampler if having multiple colors in sheet form is more useful than buying one color at a time, and your projects include labels or decorative decals. The variety and stated adhesion suit practical crafting, while the matte finish keeps the look understated. On the spec sheet, the main drawback is the mismatch between the 50-sheet headline and the 48 sheets represented by the color breakdown. If every sheet matters, get clarity on the contents first, if your project calls for a specific color or a dependable count, a clearly itemized option is the safer route.
