COVLUROTO Cooking Sets01 15-Piece Kids Cooking Set with Prep Tools

For children who want to help with family food prep, the COVLUROTO Cooking Sets01 brings child-size kitchen tools into a shared cooking routine.

The 15-piece set combines knives and cutting accessories with an apron and gloves, giving kids a range of tools to use alongside an adult.

Its BPA-free materials and stainless steel cutting edges make it a hands-on alternative to a pretend-only kitchen set. How can kids take part in preparing ingredients? Give them a supervised role with age-appropriate tools and simple tasks.

Everyday use

Use the set for supervised kitchen activities such as helping prepare carrots, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and grapes. The assortment includes serrated toddler knives, a wooden kids’ knife, a kitchen knife, a crinkle cutter, and a Y-shaped peeler, so children can try different food-prep tasks with a parent nearby. Cutting boards provide a dedicated surface, while sandwich cutters add another way to shape food for a meal or snack.

The apron and gloves help make the activity feel like a shared cooking session, rather than just pretend play. It can also support role-play and open-ended exploration when the family is not preparing a meal. The set is intended for ages 3–12 and is not for children under 3. Adult supervision is recommended during use, children can wear the included gloves while handling the tools.

Why it makes sense

A single-purpose pretend set is suited to imaginative play, this kit takes a more hands-on approach, with food-prep tools that children can use while cooking with a parent. The variety lets families choose an activity that fits the meal, from cutting soft ingredients to making shaped sandwiches. BPA-free materials and the included apron, gloves, and boards make it a ready-made set for introducing supervised kitchen participation.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the set’s usefulness for children who enjoy helping, along with its appearance and the fun of cooking together. Feedback on cutting performance is mixed: some buyers say the knives cut effectively, while others find them harder to use. That makes a parent-led introduction to each tool a practical way to help children get familiar with the set.
