Counter Height Swivel Bar Stools, 26-inch

Getting the most from it

A kitchen island or home bar can be a more comfortable place to sit when the stools have both a backrest and room to turn toward the conversation. This set of two brings together padded, linen-fabric barrel seats, a 360-degree swivel, and metal legs in a sand color. The listed height is 26 inches, so compare that measurement with your counter and available legroom before choosing a spot.

For a casual meal, one person can swivel toward the kitchen while someone else stays facing the island. If you prioritize easy conversation and a supportive back, these offer more than a basic backless stool, if you prefer a compact seat that tucks away completely, the barrel shape and backrest may take up more visual space.

Why it’s worth it

The padded seats and high backs are intended for comfortable sitting, while the swivel makes it easier to turn without shifting the stool. That can be handy when the island doubles as a place to eat, work briefly, or chat with someone moving around the kitchen. The metal base includes adjustable foot pads, a practical detail for helping the stools sit steadily on a floor that isn’t perfectly even.

Each stool is listed to support up to 300 pounds. Upholstery is described as easy to maintain, but cleaning is spot-clean only, rather than a removable or machine-washable cover. For everyday crumbs or a small spill, that means addressing the affected area directly. The listing also doesn’t provide full seat or overall dimensions, so the 26-inch height alone won’t tell you how much space the barrel seats need beside one another.

Key features

• Set of two counter-height swivel stools in sand
• 26-inch listed height, with a backrest and padded linen-fabric upholstery
• 360-degree swivel and metal legs with adjustable foot pads
• Weight capacity listed as up to 300 pounds per stool
• Tools are included for assembly, fabric care is spot cleaning

From the way it is set up, the appeal is a pair of upholstered, swiveling seats rather than a minimal, easy-to-hide perch. Assembly tools are included, but the listing doesn’t give a detailed assembly time or complete dimensions. It’s a great fit if you want two matching seats for an island or home bar and value a backrest and swivel. It’s not for you if you need washable upholstery, a backless design, or precise dimensions to confirm a tight fit.

Buying verdict

This set makes sense when two people need dedicated seating and you want the flexibility to turn toward the room instead of staying fixed in one direction. Its clearest trade-off is the fabric: it adds a softer, upholstered look, but calls for spot cleaning and won’t suit someone who wants a wipe-clean surface. Before buying, measure the counter area and allow for the stools’ backs and barrel seats, since those dimensions aren’t supplied. If that space works and the 26-inch height matches your setup, the combination of two seats, backrests, and swivel movement is the main reason to choose this over simpler fixed stools.
