CLOUDREAM YUNDA GameCube Controller Adapter, 4 Ports, Turbo, Vibration

Best use cases

Set up a multiplayer Super Smash Bros. session on Nintendo Switch or Wii U using GameCube controllers you already own. The CLOUDREAM YUNDA adapter connects up to four wired GameCube or WaveBird controllers, so friends can play together through one adapter. Want to use the same controller setup on a different platform? A mode switch supports PC as well as Nintendo systems.

For Wii U, enter the game with a Wii Remote, the adapter supports Super Smash Bros. on that console. Its long wired cable also gives you room to position the adapter near your players while connecting it to the system.

Benefits

Four controller ports make this a practical pick for local multiplayer: connect the group’s GameCube controllers to one adapter rather than setting up a separate connection for each player. It is especially suited to Super Smash Bros. on Switch or Wii U, while PC mode offers another way to use compatible controllers. If your priority is keeping a familiar wired controller in rotation, this approach can make more sense than changing your whole controller setup.

Turbo repeats the button pressed by the player at a fast rate, which can help with games that call for repeated inputs. Vibration support adds controller feedback where the game and setup support it. Buyers often praise the straightforward setup and report little to no input lag, while feedback on compatibility and connectivity is mixed. Some report issues with Dolphin emulator compatibility or connection, and durability feedback varies.

Questions before you buy

Which systems can I use it with? It supports Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Wii U, and PC. On Wii U, use a Wii Remote to enter the game, support on that system is for Super Smash Bros.

Can four players connect at once? Yes. The adapter has four GameCube controller ports and supports up to four wired GameCube or WaveBird controllers at the same time.

How do I switch between a console and PC? Set the mode button to Wii U/Switch for those Nintendo systems, or to PC mode when connecting to a computer. Vibration may depend on the PC game and operating system.

Final verdict

Its four ports, platform mode switch, turbo feature, and vibration support make it a useful fit for multiplayer sessions centered on familiar GameCube controls.
