CCIOBTE Garage Shelving 4-Tier Metal Rack, 5,000 lb Capacity, Adjustable

For a garage, basement, or work area that needs substantial storage in one organized footprint, the CCIOBTE Garage Shelving unit combines four adjustable tiers with a 5,000-pound maximum capacity. Its broad shelves give tools, automotive parts, sports equipment, and bulk supplies a dedicated place off the floor.

The freestanding metal rack measures 69 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 64 inches high. That spacious format suits larger storage needs, while adjustable shelf positions let you arrange the vertical space around the items you keep.

Choose a fixed-tier layout for everyday bins and equipment, or remove shelf panels when you need an open section for taller gear. The rack can also connect with other units to build a wider storage wall.

Best use cases

This shelving unit is designed for garage storage, but its uses extend to basements, workshops, warehouses, and storage rooms. Four tiers help separate categories such as tools, hardware, automotive parts, and sports equipment, making it easier to keep frequently used items grouped instead of spread across the floor.

For example, a home garage can use the shelves for parts and supplies while reserving an open section for a ladder or pipe. Adjusting the shelf positions helps accommodate different item heights, removing a shelf panel creates additional vertical clearance. If the priority is a single compact rack, its 69-inch width and 24-inch depth define a clear storage area. If the need is to expand along a wall, the modular design allows units to be linked side by side.

Pros

The frame is made from thickened cold-rolled steel, with reinforced beams, lateral stabilizers, and diagonal braces. Together, these construction details support a rigid storage setup for heavier garage items. Product specifications list a maximum capacity of 5,000 pounds overall and up to 1,250 pounds per shelf.

A powder-coated finish is designed to resist rust, corrosion, and everyday wear from scratches. The adjustable shelves make the rack more adaptable than a fixed-height unit, while detachable panels offer another way to create space for taller equipment. It is freestanding and intended for floor mounting, so it can serve as a dedicated storage station in a garage or work area.

Practical questions

Can the shelves be repositioned? Yes. Each shelf can be moved up or down to suit the height of the stored items, and locking pins hold the tiers in place.

Can the rack make room for taller items? Yes. The shelf panels are detachable, so you can remove a panel to open up vertical space for items such as ladders or pipe.

Can I connect this unit with another rack? Yes. The modular design allows multiple frames to be linked side by side to create a wider storage arrangement.

Is it worth it?

For anyone organizing a garage or work area around heavy supplies, equipment, or parts, this rack brings high stated capacity together with flexible shelf placement. Its reinforced metal frame supports substantial storage, while removable panels and side-by-side expansion help tailor the layout to the space and the gear. It is a practical fit when you want a spacious, adjustable shelving setup rather than a fixed arrangement.
