Simetufy Pony Beads, 1,200 Pieces

A mixed-color bead set is useful for quick craft sessions, but tiny holes or too few color choices can slow a project down. These plastic pony beads have a 4 mm opening and come in 24 opaque colors, giving kids and adults plenty of options for simple stringing projects.

The package contains 1,200 beads, so it can support more than one bracelet or group activity.

The main trade-off is that the listing does not specify how many beads come in each color, and it does not say that string or other supplies are included.

Technical details

Each bead measures 6 x 9 mm and has a barrel shape, with a 4 mm hole for threading. The beads are plastic and described as lightweight and sturdy. The color mix includes white, black, brown, cream, and shades of pink, green, red, yellow, and blue, the exact allocation within the 24 opaque colors is not given.

That hole size is a useful detail when choosing a project: it makes the beads suitable for stringing, but the listing does not identify specific cord sizes or materials. The product also gives no total bag weight, so estimating the contents by weight is difficult without that measurement.

What it works with

The listed uses include hair braiding, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, key chains, phone or mask chains, and anklets. The beads can also be threaded onto pipe cleaners or string for simple sculptures. They are aimed at DIY crafts rather than a single finished jewelry style, so the color assortment is the main reason to choose this set over buying a small, narrowly matched selection for one design.

For a hands-on activity, spread a handful of colors on a table, sort them into groups, then thread a repeating pattern for a bracelet or key chain. That gives younger crafters a straightforward way to practice counting and color sorting while making something they can keep or give as a small present. The listing mentions home, classroom, camp, and group activities as possible settings.

Usage tips

Plan the pattern before threading if you want repeated color sequences, the listing does not say how many beads of each color are in the bag. For hair braiding or a project with a specific cord, compare the cord with the 4 mm opening before starting. A small tray or divided container can help keep the assorted colors separate during a group activity.

It makes sense if you want a large, varied supply for casual crafts, shared activities, or several small accessories. It might not be a great match if your design depends on an exact color count, a specified cord compatibility, or included tools, none of those details is provided.

Buying verdict

Choose these Simetufy pony beads when variety and quantity matter more than a precisely balanced color assortment. They suit basic bracelets, hair braiding, key chains, and group craft sessions, with enough stated detail to plan around the bead size and opening. If a project requires exact color counts, a particular string, or a ready-to-use kit with tools, the listing leaves those points unresolved.
