CAP Barbell 150 LB Coated Hex Dumbbell Set with Rack 🏋

This coated hex dumbbell set from CAP Barbell offers a compact solution for building strength at home with a visible yellow A-frame rack that stores pairs of weights vertically to save floor space. Designed for progressive resistance training, the set includes matched pairs from 5 lb up to 25 lb so you can move through increments during HIIT, isolation work, or full-body strength sessions.

Key Points

The package includes one pair each of 5 lb, 10 lb, 15 lb, 20 lb, and 25 lb coated hex dumbbells and a yellow A-frame rack for vertical storage. The hex heads resist rolling, and the rack uses rubber inserts to help prevent scratches on both the dumbbells and the frame. The medium depth knurling on the 1018 cold rolled steel handles gives a secure grip for most common exercises. The rack is powder-coated steel for durability and a visible finish.

Benefits

The vertical A-frame rack reduces footprint compared to linear racks and keeps pairs organized for quick weight changes between sets. Coated heads help protect floors and reduce noise when placing weights down, which is useful for apartment or garage setups. The hex shape prevents rolling, making transitions and storage safer during fast-paced circuits. The set covers a useful range of increments to support both beginners and intermediate users progressing in strength.

Usage Recommendations

Use the lighter pairs for warm-ups, rehabilitation work, or high-repetition conditioning, and move up to heavier pairs for compound lifts and strength-focused sets. Because the handles use medium depth knurling, grip should be comfortable for most routines, although chalk or lifting straps may be considered for very sweaty sessions. Consider that the set ships in multiple boxes according to the manufacturer, so allow time to assemble and place the rack where you want it before unboxing.
