BlueStars 606USBC Surge Protector Outlet Extender, 6 Outlets, 4 USB Ports

The 3-sided outlet layout gives the BlueStars 606USBC six AC outlets alongside four USB ports, including two USB-A and two USB-C. USB-C1 supports up to 20W PD fast charging, so you can charge a compatible phone directly while keeping other outlets available for household electronics.

A built-in night light and 1050-joule surge protection make this wall-mounted extender useful in everyday charging spots.

Best use cases

Set it up in a bedroom, home office, dorm room, or other indoor space where several devices share one wall outlet. The outlets are arranged on three sides, giving you more than a single row of sockets, while the four USB ports provide a direct way to charge phones, tablets, earbuds, and other everyday USB devices without using a separate USB adapter.

For example, at a desk you can plug in electronics at the AC outlets and connect a phone or earbuds to USB at the same time. The USB-C1 port supports PD fast charging up to 20W, USB-C2 provides up to 5V/3A, and each USB-A port provides up to 5V/2.4A. USB ports are intended for compatible USB devices, not laptops or devices that require 14–22V USB-C charging.

Strengths

The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor turns on the warm LED night light when the surrounding area gets dark. Tap the sensor to adjust brightness or switch the light off, making it practical near a bedside or in a dim hallway. A standard power strip offers a row of outlets, while this extender brings its connections together at the wall and adds USB charging and low-light illumination.

Its 1050-joule surge protection is paired with safeguards against overloads, short circuits, and overcurrent. The built-in circuit breaker can shut off power through the on/off switch to help protect connected electronics. Two mounting holes on the back provide another way to secure the unit to a wall, baseboard, or furniture. For a compatible duplex outlet, the included center screw helps hold the extender in place.

What matters most

The six AC outlets and four USB ports serve different charging needs in one compact wall-mounted format. With a 5.5-inch length and 3.94-inch width, the rectangular unit keeps its footprint defined, while its plastic enclosure suits indoor home and office setups. Its Type B plug is designed for North American outlets.

The USB-C fast-charging specification applies to USB-C1, with a maximum PD output of 20W, the other USB ports have their own stated output limits. Buyers particularly appreciate the combination of outlet access, USB ports, and the soft automatic light. Feedback on the night light is mixed, so its brightness and behavior may not suit everyone’s preference.

Is it worth it?

It suits you if you want to consolidate everyday AC and USB charging at a wall outlet, with a night light for a bedroom or other dim space. Compared with choosing a basic outlet strip and a separate USB charger, the BlueStars 606USBC combines six AC outlets, four USB ports, a sensor-controlled light, and 1050-joule surge protection in one extender. That makes it a practical fit for shared indoor charging areas where access to both conventional outlets and USB charging is useful.
