BLUEJAY 1809 RC Monster Truck, 2.4GHz, 33 km/h, LED Lights

A top speed of 33 km/h gives the BLUEJAY 1809 RC monster truck room to pick up pace outdoors, while its 2.4GHz remote control is specified with a 50-meter control distance. LED headlights and chassis lights add visibility for play in dimmer conditions.

The 1:12-scale truck measures 12.4 x 7.8 x 5 inches and weighs 1.49 kg. It comes with two rechargeable batteries, with up to 70 minutes of total run time stated across them.

It’s aimed at kids ages 8–18, but the remote-control format and speed may also appeal to adults looking for a casual hobby-style truck. The listed details focus on outdoor use rather than indoor driving.

Who it’s for

This truck suits buyers who want a larger-scale RC vehicle for open outdoor play, rather than a small car intended mainly for tabletop or indoor use. Its 33 km/h maximum speed gives it a faster driving mode, and the 2.4GHz controller is listed with a 50-meter range. That can be useful in a yard or other open area where there is room to steer and keep the vehicle in view.

It’s a great fit if you want a ready-to-use gift with rechargeable batteries included and lights for evening play. The product details identify it for ages 8–18, younger children may need adult help depending on their experience with remote-control toys. Its size and outdoor focus are worth considering if storage space or a play area is limited.

Where it shines

The appeal here is the combination of truck-style scale, speed, and lighting, rather than a highly specified hobby platform. The manufacturer lists an ABS chassis and an aluminum-alloy main body, along with rubber among the materials. The two included batteries are described as supporting up to 35 minutes each, for up to 70 minutes combined. Treat that as the stated maximum, not a guarantee for every driving session.

Buyer feedback is mixed on durability, steering, performance, and battery life. Some describe it as fun, fast, and enjoyable for kids, others report early failures, steering trouble, or less runtime than expected. That range of experiences matters for anyone weighing this toy against a more basic RC car: this model offers a higher stated top speed and lights, but the available feedback does not point to uniform reliability.

When it makes sense

Choose the BLUEJAY 1809 when the priority is an outdoor RC truck with a fast top-speed claim, lighting, and two included rechargeable batteries. It can make a practical gift for a child in the stated age range or a casual family activity in an open space. Not the best choice if dependable steering or durability is the deciding factor: buyer feedback on both is divided. For demanding hobby use, compare it with models that provide more detailed specifications and support information. Within these limits, its listed features make the most sense for recreational driving rather than a specialized RC setup.
