Compatibility & requirements

The Large size is listed for large breeds. For a more useful fit check, measure your dog’s chest and back and compare them with the listed garment measurements: 28 inches around the chest and 20 inches along the back, with a 21-inch neck. The sizing guidance emphasizes chest and back measurements rather than choosing by weight alone. A close fit matters for a hoodie intended to move with your dog on walks and during everyday lounging.

The leash opening is designed for access to a harness beneath the hoodie, letting the harness stay on while you attach the leash. If your priority is a soft layer for a chilly outing, this sweatshirt offers a different approach from a raincoat: it provides warmth, not water protection.

Usage tips

Measure before choosing a size, especially if your dog has a broad chest. For routine care, machine wash cold. The hoodie’s fleece lining and knit exterior suit cool-weather walks, quick potty breaks, and indoor wear, it is not a raincoat, so choose weather protection separately when rain is a concern.

Buyers often praise the hoodie’s appearance and warmth, while fit feedback is mixed. Some also report that the lettering can peel with use. The product details describe the printed styles as screen printed, but customer feedback on lettering durability varies, so handle the graphic with care when washing.

What to clarify

How should I choose the Large size? Compare your dog’s measurements with the listed 21-inch neck, 28-inch chest, and 20-inch back. The sizing guidance recommends measuring the chest and back rather than relying on weight alone.

Can I attach a leash while my dog wears the hoodie? Yes. The leash opening provides access to a harness underneath, so the harness can stay on when you clip on the leash.

How should I care for the hoodie, and is it rainwear? It is machine washable in cold water. It is not water resistant, so it is intended as a warm clothing layer rather than rain protection.

Buying verdict

For a dog that needs a comfortable layer for cool walks, quick outdoor breaks, or lounging at home, this red hoodie combines a fleece-lined interior with a leash opening that works around a harness. Its Large size and listed measurements make it easier to compare the garment with your dog’s fit needs before choosing.
